i found this in my beer fridge last night and knocked it out...... it was delicious even after sitting for a few years

a coworker of mine from WA introduced me to Rainer; I figured it was kinda like our peral. Just had 2 or 5 pints of deushutes hop trip here at abar in red lodge MT while skiing. I love that *****and it's even better outta the tap. Also picked up p pa 6ier of this at the local grocery store her ein red lodge; pretty pretty pretty good
Jock seems to be doing pretty well tonight...
Also went to the local brewery here; if you're ever in this part of the country try the Red Lodge Bent Nail IPA; pretty decent beer.

Successful trip to D&Q minimart today. Grabbed one DFH burton baton, one kona koko brown ale, one session fest, des chutes black butte XXIII and lips of faith Super Cru. All in all a good haul.

Due to some minor basement flooding I temporarily moved by beer out from the "cellar". I figured this was as good of a chance as any for this family portrait:
Current tally is 6x '08, 4x '09, 10x '10, 5x '11. Will probably try to get my hands on a few more 11's if I run across them.

We go pretty regularly, although we haven't been in a couple of weeks. It's definitely our favorite beer bar.

I was kind of looking at Peter Brown's Tribute Ale. I guess we'll have to see when we get there what they still have and what in the "coming soon" category they already have on tap. I don't remember what day of the week they put out the new b eer menu.

I stopped at S&K Beverage on US75 at Spring Creek Pkwy and on the way home stopped at Central Market at 75/Lovers Lane.

I had Pliny again. It's not bad, but blind pig is way better.

i still didnt make it to D&Q this weekend. Im going this week and buying some good sh*t for my bday this weekend.
I opened one and kept two. It says to let it age, but I wanted to give it a taste. The chilies are noticeable, but nowhere near overwhelming. Is say the cinnamon is more of a hint. The gf and I both liked it. I'm interested to see if it mellows with age.

Saw a Black Metal Imperial Stout and a Wytchmaker Rye India Pale Ale at HEB but couldn't justify the price without doing a little research. Anyone have any experience with this brewery.
I did, however, pick up an Iron Thistle and a SA Spring Bock to try.

Drinking Sierra Nevada Ruthless Rye.... kind of smells like weed. Doesnt taste too bad though. I miss Sierra Nevada Big Foot Ale, anyone know when they're putting out some more?
