I'm a civil engineer. Will be doing the same there. Better role at a little bit larger firm.

My wife's sister used to live in Corvallis, OR, and we fell in love with the area through visiting her often. We had been talking about moving out of state ever since we married 10 years ago, but the timing was never good. We have finally gotten to a point where it was a good time to go and decided to take a chance and try it.

Anybody been to either of the 30A breweries in Florida? Grayton Beach and Idyll Hounds? I've had the IPA and 30A blonde from Grayton Beach and they're fine if nothing too exciting. Think we might hit one or both of them up on Friday as the weather should be crummy.

Idyll Hounds is pretty damned good, IMO. They do a great job with their stouts. I still have a bottle of their Cap'n Ron, rum barrel aged stout, in my fridge.

Hit it up this afternoon. Two toddlers were not bring cool drinking buddies so all I got was their dipa divide andconch'r (very good) and ba porter Captain Clermont ((great) and a taste of their peach brandy aged imperial stout (fantastic). Hopefully a return trip tomorrow with some non *******s in tow.

Had a good day in Philadelphia yesterday.

Lunch at South Philly Barbacoa


Cocktails at Village Whiskey. Dinner at Zahav. Then finishing my Pliny at Monk's Cafe while my Red Poppy warms up to proper drinking temp. Sadly, they were all out of Cantillon Gueuze this time.


Then lots more Pliny.
