I saw that they were going to start distributing to Austin.
I like haterade and rocket fuel vietnamese coffee porter, and I feel like the rest are just ok, but those guys definitely rep the tine pretty hard.

haven't had the haterade yet, but as previously mentioned all the stuff I've had of theirs have all been pretty much meh. Kick ass spot for the brewery though with a lot of cool Houston centric stuff in it.

Y'all are about right. I like to support the guys, as they are huge in the Tine community (and were huge during Harvey - see photo) but unfortunately most of their stuff is just ok. I do like Rocket Fuel and Hopston just fine though.



And thanks for the feedback on on ABW. TBD if I try to sneak some in.

Every management is different, but since they're selling you alcohol they can be held liable by Texas law if you get into an accident after leaving their place. They might let you bring it in as long as their bar staff serves you the alcohol.

IMO, that's the best beer 8th Wonder makes, but I haven't tried their new Session, Procrastinator, yet. I will never understand the love some people have for Hopston IPA.

Alcohol, no. It is against state law to bring in outside alcohol.


Wink, wink. No experience at ABW, but we've shared at multiple breweries without hassle from the management. (They've actually joined in on a few occasions). Just don't flaunt it is our typical rule.

Another NEIPA in DFW. Good Neighbor Whickad Smaht NEIPA. Not great. Never had anything else out of this brewery though. Out of Wylie.

Finally tracked one of these down and it's pretty good. Don't know if it's just me but it seems like, while good, all the NEIPAs that I've had that are brewed outside of NE just aren't on the same level as the ones that are actually from NE.
ETA: Besides Weldwerks, that **** is phenomenal.

jack stack is overrated as well. I might add don't mess with brisket in KC, only burnt ends and ribs. Never have been a huge fan of ribs but Joes does them right, at least at the OG gas station spot, can't speak to the other locations

So after the somewhat recent discussion about hazy IPAs, I said I'd give them a try. Guess I need to find a milkshake IPA. Tried haze county dipa from hops and grain. Just tasted like an IPA.

Suggestion for an easy to find milkshake IPA in Austin?
