Thanks! Its been a long two days. After 21 hours of labor, the wife is the one who deserves this beer.
Made homemade ice cream today.
Last batch I threw in some cortado and a bit of bourbon- hammer smashed fice cream. It turned out pretty good.

I second this - when they ask if you want to send the baby to the nursery so you can sleep, the answer is yes. You will miss that nursery dearly once you get home!

Been pilfering diapers and wipes. Gotta save money where I can if I still want to have beer money. It won't be long before she has me wrapped around her finger. I can see it now, she'll ask for something and as I'm telling her no, I'll be taking my wallet out and emptying it into her hand.

Coors light 24 pack? 6.49? I don't know if I would have made it out of college at that price.
Kroger on barker cypress/Tuckerton in Cypress. I often check there when I go to visit my grandma in that neighborhood because they mark stuff down quite often, but this was just exceptional.
Now they've redone their entire beer/wine dept and cleared out basically all the space for large format beers, there's just 2 big rows of refrigerated cases. This was in one of three clearance carts I dug through. They were pretty well picked through, this was the last Cascade, and there were just a few others of interest.
Evidently not much of a market there for craft, but ironically there's a "world of beer" bar going in across the street.

I noticed that at the register when they rang it up. This will be the tastiest case of coors ever.

In college the grocery store had 12 packs of Landshark for the 6 pack price pretty much the entire summer. After the first 4 or 5 12 packs I felt guilty and told the cashier... dude gave exactly zero F's. Probabaly bought another 10 more after that.
