Don't know about this price tag, but there sitting on the shelf at Spec's in Montrose. Too hot outside to drink these, personally.

The best beer selection I came across in San Antonio was the Friendly Spot. It's an icehouse right next to King William. The rarer beers were kind of expensive compared to Houston prices and it may be too hot for outside, but I liked it.Represent830 said:Definitely Weathered Souls. Just drank a 9 oz. Avery Uncle Jacobs Stout. Bourbon barrel aged imperial stout. 15.9ABV.

I will say, last time I went into an HEB in Houston the Karbach can dates on Hopadillo and the like were crap.
I really wanted to make it down from DFW but it's not going to work out.

I tasted an Avery imperial stout with coconut aged in rum barrels. Was not a fan. Their Uncle Jacob's as pictured above is outstanding.
Jah is once again the man. Had an extra ticket to the Oddwood bottle realese and offered it to me last minute. Really excited to try these, love this brewery.
Its 100 outside, but screw it. This is worth it.

So I have the possibility to purchase a single barrel from prairie with my membership. Either bourbon or apple brandy with any 3 custom adjunts to go in it. Should yield around 400 bottles so should have some to spread the love to anyone that wants some.
