Saw this posted on B-52's Facebook page. Chad (on left) posted here as jock itch. Such a terrible loss!

We have some very sad news to share with you. A part of our family and co-founder of the brewery, Chad Daniel, passed away over the holidays in a tragic motorcycle accident.
The craft beer industry has lost one amazing person. We hope you had the opportunity to meet Chad and understand his immense passion for craft beer. He always believed in pushing outside the envelope. He is sorely missed and will be remembered forever at the brewery.
It's impossible to put into words how we feel but it is comforting to know we are apart of such an amazing industry.
All we can do now is to continue Chad's legacy and to keep pushing forward with the vision he had.

I saw that as well. Met him a couple of summers ago when I stopped by the brewery on the way to Galveston. He was a good guy, sad to see the news.

Wow, that is so sad. I had the pleasure of meeting them a few times at the brewery, and they were always so helpful.
