I definitely wouldn't serve yourself unless you're already airborne to remove risk of being removed from plane. But, assuming you have something that isn't for sale on plane, personally I'd probably ask flight attendant if they could take my beer to their station, open it, and pour me a glass.. asking if I could keep the rest of the bottle of courseAggieOO said:

What's all this drinking on a plane nonsense... I make it a point to do plenty of drinking before I get on the plane. Although... I do have an irrational fear of planes.

I will say that I opened the almanac as a celebratory beer after finally getting the 2 year old to sleep for the last 45 mins of a half day of traveling.

Speaking of NE style ipa's, Weathered Souls brewery in san antonio have put a couple out recently that are great. I'm digging the style a lot.
Speaking of NE IPAs, got this in the mail yesterday, along with some 120 from a buddy who works at DFH.
Haven't had one of these in a while.
I want to try both Jolly Russian and a good NE IPA. I've been told I might actually enjoy that style.

Good to be in Austin for the summer. Some good beer with Jah and Hudson this afternoon at Austin Beerworks.
And I didn't wait long to try Sputnik out. Popped this in the freezer with a wet paper towel around it right when I got home. Hour later, it's perfect. An excellent beer. Thanks Hudson.
