Gordo...that Kentucky Bourbon Barrel is by far my favorite beer. Unfortunately, in College Station, it's nowhere to be found. They only ship to Ohio currently and Kentucky of course. Anyone know how I can get some of that Kentucky Bourbon Barrel to College Station prior to driving there for the next SEC matchup???

Also Gordo...where can you find Innis and Gunn in Texas???

Did the Karbach tour today in the Tine... Great beer, maybe 50 people there, great weather = kicks the sh*t out of Saint A tour

Karbach also mentioned the "Yule shoot your eye out" Xmas ale that will be available next week!

I just had the Trappist Rochefort 8 last night. Good God was it tasty. I heard that the 10 is even better... can't wait!


I find it strange that I'll take 20 minutes to sip and savor a $5 bottle of beer at home, but have no qualms about downing a couple of $5 Rahrs at the pub.

That Rochefort is an interesting find. I had it a few days ago at The Old Monk in Dallas. It was their "rotator" beer. Extremely good; I had the 8, didn't know there was a 10. Congrats, welcome to 16 hour days my friend.

JR...... you can't get it in texas..... i would find it here and there travelling around for work...... once in london a few years ago (where i actually tried it for 1st time)..... a couple of times in new jersey over the years..... and this year i found it in atlanta when i was there in april

Man I want to go, just can't decide which. Sunday is $75, that's a lot for brunch. Karbach dinner is much less. Then I always the dilemma, either convince wife to go, and pay twice as much, or get a friend.. otherwise, go alone

Rockwell had that a bit back, f-in $2 pints. I did that math, that price was about 1/3 of specs shelf price. crazy. she must of lost money on it.
Fox and hound had it for a while too, and it was $4 pints on tuesdays.

Tried Terrapin Hopsecutioner IPA over the weekend, not too bad. Not as hoppy as I'd hoped with that name. Currently drinking Dogfish 60 and Stone Ruination.

I haven't read through this entire thread but are there any good Pumpkin Ale's still being sold? My favorite was Wasatch but they don't sell it in Nov. Crazy right?

Maybe not what you're looking for, but I thought the pumpkin ale on tap at B.J.'s was pretty good.
