I've had a Contemplating Waterloo on hand for a while and haven't had the hankering to open it yet.

It should age okay right? Maybe take a little of the gin cut off? Or is the base flavor more of the issue y'all had?

I had originally got it for the gf, since she loves saisons, but she doesn't like the sound of the drink I think.

Ah...gotcha. Yeah, the Scotch distillers do use old bourbon barrels.

Macallan uses alot of used sherry barrels. I'm not sure what kind of barrels Community used.

I've said it before, but Yellow Rose is all over the place on batches but when it's good, it's great. This latest batch we got in Austin is perfect. Might have to hit some harder stuff soon though.

Drowning sorrows in Black Tuesday right now...tough game for the Ags. Shot ourselves in the foot one too many times against the best team in the nation. Didn't help the refs were brutal too. Still got a chance to have a special season down the stretch though.

Yep. Have the chance do 11-1, but damn, you have to be perfect to beat Alabama in Tuscaloosa. And we were far from it.

That roughing the passer was a killer.

Spent the day drinking Parish Envie and NOLA Holy Roller at a bar in New Orleans during the game. Afterward we went to Courtyard Brewing's 1st anniversary party. Had a good IPA and a couple of good versions of their stout, one with donuts and one with almonds and maraschino cherries. Both were good.

Just picked up a collaboration not litigation on sale for $6. Couldnt pass it up. However I did have to pass on the fresh 12 pack of consecrations they had in the walk in That makes 3-4 consecutive times I've been there and seen RR sours just sitting in the walk in. Damn daycare
