I am done with the "right" side of the patio, but not without some issues.
If you plan to do any of this dont get lazy and cut corners. I did towards the end of the edging stone.
Luckily I didnt have any problems with the edge stone by the existing concrete patio and was able to install the flagstone without incident.
Here is a picture of the edging I am talking about.

I wanted it to be a "vanishing edge" so I had the edge stone pitching away from the porch and when it was finally ending into the grass I stopped. The more edging stones I put in the more I wanted to stop so I gradually increased the pitch so I could stop sooner.
Here are the problem stones, luckily only the last two.

The white stones were keeping the edge flagstone from matching up with the pitch of the others so ended up taking the two problem stones out.

After I took them out I was able to level out the edge pieces correctly.

I think the edging will end up looking ok when the new grass is put in.

Here is what it looks like after you level the stones and before the clean up.

After clean up.

A few views and I know they seem to be the same but now all the stones are set except for the obvious ones on the kitchen side.
