I would say it's still pretty arguable. Although Tiger's DWIs are probably the worst single acts.

But on their infidelity, Tiger's was consensual. Phil, on the other hand, may be a serial sexual harasser. Throw in the potential insider trading and trying to ruin professional golf and there's definitely a case for Phil. And as others said, Tiger's "good" side of the ledger is much better.

I think this incapsulates my thoughts very well. You may not like Tiger and what he has done, but it was consensual. What Phil has done for a very long time but just been lucky enough to have had the media and others gloss over is then fact that he is a habitual sexual harasser/predator.

And as other mentioned about the good things that Tiger does do from his foundations to other charitable work is much better than Phil. In my mind there is no defending Phil and his conduct over the past 30 years.

I will also give Tiger credit in one other way. As the first big name African American in a sport with a less than stellar history of race relations, Tiger was often invited and encouraged to denigrate golf's past and he certainly would have had every right to do so. But he largely passed and has generally been gracious on this. I don't think it can be understated how much Tiger's approach on this helped heal golf. He could have tore down a lot of people and places if he wanted. I respect him for not doing so even if a case could be made that some of them would have deserved it.
