Based on this tournament so far I'm not really sure Micah should've been the 3rd captain.

They were absolutely roasting Micah. He deserves it. Guy might be the most annoying YouTuber.

Dave seems to be a legitimately terrible person.

Only really know him from pizza reviews where he seems perfectly fine.

If the object of golf was to roll as many putts as you can right along the edge of the cup without going in those guys would be on tour. So many close calls. What a tough course to play under pressure with all those 70-90 yard shots. That was entertaining.

Huh? Dave is making this so entertaining. I love his rulings and watching him be fascinated by everyone and legitimately entertained. Him talking **** to Frankie and others is so fun to watch. I don't watch barstool at all, but I love Dave's kind of humor and dry/sarcastic/playful **** talking.

I haven't seen the latest episode yet but this content is amazing. I don't watch much YouTube golf but I'll watch this every year from now on.

In my opinion, Paige has come off the worst in the show. When they were making the pairings in the third episode, she came off as a *****. She was very bossy and pressuring Frankie into certain pairings. And she seemed to be wrong on the strategy. She comes off as someone who thinks she's really good, when she is not. Or someone who is more important than she is. Maybe it was just a bad day for her or a bad edit.

Haha I was thinking the same thing. Didn't really know who Frankie or Trent were before this (had seen Frankie but didn't know he was big on barstool golf). But all of those guys are so lucky to have been hired by Dave when they were. They have a bag of nothing, but I'm sure Dave wouldn't fire them at this point. I honestly don't understand why anyone would ever watch Frankie. Seems like a very nice guy but does not seem funny/entertaining and is not good at golf. Trent seems like he would be a much better fit with the Bob Does Sports guys bc their personalities are similar and he has someone to play off of. Trent and Fat Perez in the carts was great.

But I don't follow or watch Barstool golf content, so maybe they somehow put out entertaining content.

Frankie shines whenever he gets into a tense or stressful situation because he gets extremely anxious and always blows it (which makes great content). There are older videos where he would live stream Islanders playoff games at his families restaurant watching the game with his dad and he is just a rollercoaster of emotions. Dave knows exactly how Frankie is wired due to Frankie being Dave's assistant for several years, that's why he is going after him so hard.

and then Peter Finch says "join the que".. That Par 3 course looked so much fun, but holy hell, the greens seem diabolical. I wish there was more chirping, Thankfully Bob Does and Dave/Whit are there to provide some relief to that.

I like the DOD king schtick, but it was pretty funny to see how humbled he got. Best line was from peter finch though when he told DOD "DONT TALK **** TO DALKE".

And it makes me sad, seeing Beef getting to the final knowing he's not with us anymore (i guess he had some good 3-4 foot puts that round, but couldn't hit a good iron shot if he wanted).

I used to feel the same way, but having slowly been drawn into barstool content over the years, I've reversed on Dave and like him now. He plays the part of an A-hole, deep down he isn't. That's not to say his persona is a complete act. He kinda is doing Curb You Enthusiasm Larry David type thing except in the arena of internet content creation. The way he actually manages Barstool is extremely collaborative, let's his employees take risks and ownership of things, doesn't micromanage and seems to be pretty pragmatic, fair and reasonable in the way thing actually play out.

He's entertaining and I'm sure likes to play the a-hole...but openly rooting for your good friend to fail so you can give him **** the rest of his life?...I know it's part of his schtick...but that's not a very good quality to have.

Sounds like all of my good friends that I golf with or do anything competitive with. I think it's all in good fun. And he's treated Frankie very well over the years.

They don't. They'll get some good interviews and Riggs is well connected but the rest just kind of tag along and try their hardest but they're not funny or entertaining. They used to have a guy that was good, he was some IT salesman or something but he quit because they wanted him full time and he made more at his other gig.

Mo going to look at the hole and calling them to tell them where to hit it was smart. They should have listened to him. On one hole he was telling Paige to go long and right and she hit it two feet short and wound up with a 50 foot putt. IDK why they were giving him a hard time. He was using slope and trying to take every advantage possible.
