Don't disagree and I wouldn't have sent Speith back out but it's Monday morning QBing to a degree. We all wanted more Brooks and he crapped the bed this morning. Trotting out Burns and Morikawa in the first group looked like suicide and they were our best group today. Just hard to know what anyone is going to do.

I hear you. I would have sat him too. Just pointing out you could have made the same argument for Burns, Morikawa and Harman. And if any of them had played bad today, people would no doubt be making those arguments. But they didn't, so people aren't.

Basically, it all seems to be hindsight. Play good, smart pairing. Play bad, terrible pairing. Regardless of what they did beforehand.

He did a pod with NLU a while back. Covers his career but mostly talks about the Ryder Cup. It's a good listen.

That he is. And I would have benched him. I just don't think the decision is as easy as people make it out to be. It's not inconceivable that Speith finds his groove. He's done it before. And everyone back at the hotel had just played pretty terribly as well. Scheffler was last seen crying, Brooks *****ing, Xander missing short putts and Rickie doing god knows what. We just didn't have a great option.

He was the best tee to green by far. He missed a few putts, but and still posted 5 birdies.

And throw out any SG stats from foursomes. Surely you know to do that.

Johnson's press conference yesterday is a lesson in not what to do. He talks way too much. Short and one sentence answers and shut up. He just kept going and going and practically told them everything by the end of the press conference
