The US is losing b/c they've been asleep at the wheel for the last month while the Euros have been logging Top 10 finishes in Tournament golf. Again, playing Tuesday money matches with your drinking buddy/Ryder Cup teammate isn't the same as playing Tournament golf.
Agreed. The US played at a level closer to being down 5/3 or 4.5/3.5 than being down 6-2. Rahm chipped in 4 times today, 2 putts for halves on the 18th of what 20ft plus, Fitzpatrick made 70 feet of putts through the first 5 holes. Most of the American team didn't play that bad, but everything dropped for Europe day 1.
