I've already been very vocal on here about how great the Masters coverage is and the platform they have

The TV coverage (CBS/NBC) is what my gripe is with. For starters, we get too much "in the booth" shots at the beginning of the day listening to the commentators talk either recapping the previous days round or hypothetically talking about what could happen on the day. I (would assume most everyone else is too) is just interested in watching golf. I'd rather watch shots of guys that are T-30 on a Sunday rather than watching a preview show

I completely understand and am not ignorant to the importance of TV deals, but imo they have maximized revenue over showing the actual golf. My point was that TV coverage outside of the usual ESPN PGA tour live or featured groups like this week is just bad

But my point still stands with Bennett. There's been major coverage of him this week, he just fell out of the top 10 (regardless you get my point), he's still the top Amateur and it's still a great story and he's playing solid golf on a Sunday at the Masters. It's worth showing (and I'd have this opinion even if he wasn't an Ag)

Needed to make those birdies in the first 7 holes to give yourself some breathing room.

Only -2 on the par fives this week, due to a pitch in eagle in round 1.

I don't know if it's a lack of length or something else, but that's not good. It shows how solid he's been scrambling everywhere else, but can't do that.

Yeah, you expect to make a few bogeys at Augusta. But you have to fire at the pin when you can, and most of his pars have been stressful.

A good amount of electricity building in that final group. Rahm and Brooks were kinda chummy this morning, but it's gotten pretty tense in the last hour. Both guys want it so bad. Great viewing.

Just to be clear, CBS doesn't make anything from this Masters broadcast. The Masters reimburses them for their cost. That's it.

That's why there are only 4 minutes of ads per hour. That's why when Martha Burke pressured their sponsors about no female membership, they said "how about we go with no commercials and no sponsors so no one has to answer for us"
