Thanks for sharing that. That's really great that you were able to have that conversation with him.
I really enjoyed that segment with Joel

I don't know. If you're super confident, you don't almost skip US Open qualifying. When the pressure was off after a few White Claws, he tore it up. I think he knows he's good but hasn't been confident enough to give all out effort and still fail._lefraud_ said:
The Dahmen episode was great. And let's not kid ourselves, the dude has plenty of confidence. You don't get to where he is without it.
I think he just does a really good job of managing expectations. Because of his life experiences, he doesn't get too high, doesn't get too low. He understands that this is an awesome ride that it will eventually come to an end.
Pretty easy guy to root for.
That's the sense I got. He's so down to earth and he's not the type to have fake bravado. When he says he's not sure if he's got the talent, he doesn't mean he doesn't think he's not talented. I feel like he just means top-ten type talent and he's not gonna say he has it till he's done it type thing._lefraud_ said:

Alright, enough of the feel good stories.
Let's talk about the LIV players in the doc. Did that change anyone's perceptions on the new league?
My thoughts: Beyond a cash grab (nothing wrong with that either. These dudes have a family to support and if they feel like their skills are slipping to compete in the PGA then it's a wise decision) I think its a good move for them. From a fan of the game and fan point of view, you hate to see it right? Our beloved PGA tour is sacred. But from a player of the game in the grind of things, I don't see anything wrong with the choice of going LIV.

One little thing that bothers me that shouldn't, some iron shots have driver/wood noises. You'd think they'd be able to at least get that right.

Loved the Joel Dahmen episode. I didn't know much about him. Good dude.
All that bleach must have seeped into his brain. He's a headcase, pure and simple.tandy miller said:Big Al 1992 said:

Then he acts like he doesn't know who Scottie scheffler is. Give me a ****ing break

I really want Tony Finau to win a major.
Maybe the producers know that no one wants to see his wife on screen.MarathonAg12 said:
I'd love to see that cheater Patrick Reed in this doc lol
His wife seemed like a complete bimbo on the show.Mr.Bond said:Texmid said:"Because I'm not sure, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I see... a nipple."MarathonAg12 said:
Brooks' wife slid into his DMs and then they started dating. These dudes literally get any lady they want.
Looks a little chilly there
If I understood the rules correctly, they can make their money on LIV, but still qualify/play in the US Open and The Masters every year. So they're only missing two major events and really, at this point in some of their careers do they care about the grind of the 'lesser' events?MarathonAg12 said:
