This is the first draft of the proposed tour. Nothing really at stake here, just an excuse to play a little more golf and enjoy a sense of community. The Tour will be virtual so you can play your normal courses. All you do on TheGrint is when you start your round you select an option to apply this round to the appropriate event/round.
Y'all let me know what you think. Those of you who sent me your info in that Google Form I'll invite y'all to join a test tour so we can get the hang of how everything works.
ELIGIBILITY:
Open to all TexAgs Golf Board participants who use TheGrint and have an official handicap regardless of location. TexAggers can vouch for friends and invite them to participate.
EVENTS:
Playing with fellow TexAggers is encouraged but events will be virtual. You play on the course of your choice and we compete via net score. The way it works on TheGrint is that you don't have a specific date of an event -- if you sign up you have to complete the event by a certain date. You'll see on the schedule below that I suggest we usually do events every two weeks since many of us don't get to play every week.
To post a score for an event you must play according to the rules for stroke play (hole everything out, white stakes OB, no mulligans or breakfast balls, etc).
FLIGHTS:
Depending on who signs up we will have several flights for each event based on handicap.

Event 4 (MAJOR, Double Points): Two Rounds, Nov 2-22

Event 6: Single Round, Jan 18-31
Event 7: Single Round, Feb 1-14
Event 8: Single Round, Feb 15-28
Event 9: Single Round, Mar 1-14
Event 10 (MAJOR, Double Points): Two Rounds, Mar 15 - Apr 4

Figure this one could be something like the TexAgs tourney on campus, maybe have captains and teams and do something Ryder Cup style like an 18-hole three match event (six holes of fourball, six holes of foursomes, six holes of match play).
