Stopped at the academy in south San Marcos and found prior year chrome softs for 14.99 a dozen. I picked up 4 and there were about ten left on the Bottom shelf. Not sure if this is all stores or not

Have you tried Academy up there? Look for boxes that don't say "New and improved". Don't pay attention to the price on the shelf. Run them under a scanner.

But, yes I'd be happy to send you some if that doesn't work or if you don't have time to mess with it.

Damn, looks like they fixed the glitch. I'm at Academy off 290 in Houston and they are full retail.

The previous years box for Chroms Soft-X (silver box) has the hexagon all over it where as this years doesn't have it on it. The previous years box, which was found hidden at very bottom, did scan at $14.99. You need to scan it yourself, my guess if you call it in they'll grab the wrong box.

I picked up 3 dozen at this location, and there is 2 left. If anyone wants to buy one off me I can part ways with one.

Check out my edit, they probably checked the wrong box.

Got to the Wylie location just a few minutes late. Couldn't find the 2016 box so I grab the new box just to make sure I was looking for the right box. I walked over to the scanner and someone had just scanned a box of chrome soft and it came up $15.

The one in my hand came up 45. They cleaned them out.

Found a chrome soft X box at the Academy in Plano off of 75. Only one there though.

I found only 4 boxes of the Chrome Softs at the Academy in Frisco - they're all at my house now though so don't bother hitting that one

Just cleaned out the Denton academy, 9 dozen. That should last 3 or 4 years.
