He drops Taylor Potts from #8 in state to THIRTY freaking TWO! #32

Now please tell me what has TAYLOR POTTS done between today and about a month ago to merit this free fall besides committing to Tech?

Did he play a football game? Did he get injured?

Yet Ketchum ranks Derke Robinson and Britt Mitchell both as four star recruits?
Really??? based on a high light film alone?

I'm not saying the kids are not deserving, they may be, but is there no need for camps at the very least and/or a senior season to merit such a large jump?

I just don't get how this grown man thinks he can honestly believe he can pass this off as legit info. No integrity at all.

Sherrod Harris had pitiful numbers last year, that is the most ridiculous example of slanted journalism that I have ever seen.

PS im the first one to say that potts is overrated as far as the QBs, snead, and stafford are both better, but to drop him THAT far after a commit? Please..

During the Martellus Bennett and Ryan Perriloux commitment they were calling these kids on what seemed an hourly basis to get an "update" Any new rumor that came about, they made a call. Regardless the source of the rumor... they called.

On Saturday, Jason Suchomel called Deon Beasley TWICE to confirm if he was or was not at the A&M spring game. The one time he said was not there was not enough?

Today they call his coach to get another confirmation! The TWO times you called him on Saturday was not enough? Now you have to ask his Coach?!?!

I'm sorry, but how the heck is this not seen as service pressuring and pushing a kid toward keeping his commitment.

A recruiting services job is to report these kids commitments... NOT to pressure their decision in anyway at all!

LATREAL COOPER went from #11 to UNRANKED.

He dropped right off the freaking list... he is not there, nothing, nada!

LATREAL was INJURED just as he is now when Ketch made his first list and placed him at #11.

Since that point all Cooper has done is heal and continue the rehab process, oh along with commit to Texas A&M.

So a guy who started the list at #11 with an injured knee, played in no game since then, continued the rehab he did when he was #11, and the HEALING PROCESS meritted his drop from #11 to outside the top 100?!?!

Are you serious? Healing is frowned upon?

Obviously you guys haven't bothered to read Ketch's thoughts on Cooper. If you had then you would know that he is extremely HIGH on Cooper and thinks you guys have gotten a real good one. His only hesitation, and frankly, everyone else's, is Cooper's knee.

The funny thing about Potts is that #32 is about right. #8 was what was wrong, and he was only there because Ketch thought he was a possible Texas commit.

Derke Robinson is the #17 player in the state of Texas according to Geoff Ketchum.

That's right, a projected college FULLBACK is the number 17 player in Texas (from UNRANKED) ahead of a guy like Taylor Potts who is now NUMBER 32!

Jevan Snead has offers from AUBURN, Urban Meyer and Florida, MIAMI, Bob Stoops and OU, OSU, and the big 3 Texas schools, yet he is still a worse prospect than Derke Robinson a projected FB?

A highlight film Ketch saw catipulted this young man, Derke Robinson, over a player like Snead that has offers from some of the best coaches in the nation? I am not saying that can't happen, but a highlight film meritted this jump?

Not a camp? Not a few games during his senior year?

when the Websider list came out several weeks ago, it was just as bad, with most of the UT guys not even listed in the top 50.

P.S. Derke Robinson is NOT a FB recruit... the kid is 6-1, 205 with RB skills... not saying he deserves to be ranked as high as he is, but he is a true RB recruit.

serious question. Have you seen or seen film of Robinson and Mitchell? I have to say I was much more impressed with the Robinson film as I thought I'd be. The ags thought enough of Mitchell to offer this early.

What do they have in common? They are committed to the Ags and have been steadily dropping ever since. Leslie Ray was top 5 in the state according to True Orange prior to his A&M pledge. This is freakin comical.

What do these guys have in common? They are all horn pledges and have moved from unranked to top 40 in the state. Don't get me wrong, Britt Mitchell is a good TE prospect, but #14 in the state? Right. Moore from unranked to 37 to the biggest laugher of them all. Payne and Mitchell are legitimate top 50 guys, while Robinson and Moore should be between 75 & 100.

The problem is that Ketch didn't originally have some of those Texas recruits in his top 50 either.

Yes I have seen their videos, and like I said they should be ranked higher, but to move them from UNRANKED to #17 and #14.

Britt is a solid TE propect with great blocking skills, but the #14 player in the state? Based on highlights alone?

Derke Robinson is a great prospect that I feel lacks speed, but he should be ranked. But #17? his highlights meritted such a massive jump?

Like I said, as the camps pass, their senior year gets going then maybe there will be enough evidence to merit these moves. I am not saying they are not worthy, but you have to have stronger basis than just highlight films alone.

Snead has a highlight film and some of the top coaches around the nation after are him, yet that is only enough to get him to 20? We are talking Bob Stoops, Mack Brown, Urban Meyer, Tommy Tuberville, and Larry Coker. I won't even list Fran because I know many horns don't respect him, but you can't deny those other men.

Taylor Potts has a highlight film... one that hasn't changed since he was #8, but now he is at 32? All since he just committed to Tech?

It just shocks me and it shows an extremely low level of honesty and integrity by this man, Geoff Ketchum.

His list is geared toward his subcribers, and I feel like it is an unfair recruiting advantage.

It's pretty obvious, if you lean or commit to Texas, you stock will soar. If you lean or commit to A&M or Texas Tech, then you will drop or not move.

I know Ketchum won't do it, but I truly hope Bobby Burton sees what is happening here.

Their kicker is #55. He's ranked higher than Hines, and basicaly everyone else committed to the Ags. Their fcuking kicker? Come on.

The real joke is that this is the same stuff that has been coming out the last 5-6 years. In the end, his higher ranked UT slanted players have been winning the head to head against all the poor aggie players that get moved down in his rankings the more he sees of each player. Self fulfilling prophecy I guess.

In all honesty most of the recruiting services and rankings are a joke, especially this time of year. Mainly for entertainment. Both schools are bringing in, evaluating, offering and getting commitments from players most of the services hadn't even heard of. Not exactly the most credible source.

Bobby must be blind, b/c this has been going on for years.

Unfortunately, the only true way to expose this bafoon and his rankings is for A&M to start beating texas consistantly again, and win most head-to-head battles.
