^^^^^^ this.
Dumbass' comments on tu game day, crowds, stadium, basically anything having to do with his t shirt school's games mean ***** Knew he never went to games and now the Dumbass admits it. Couldn't get in the school and can't afford to go to the games. Holy **** that's pathetic.
I've probably attended around 80 or so UT football games
Why? Why would you, or anyone, associate themselves with that school? Must be a misguidance/misunderstanding/disconnect or association with many days gone by, IMO.Your Friend said:AgOutsideAustin said:Ragoo said:you haven't been to Austin in a couple of years but you e-hump the horn honor everyday? mens room, 3rd stall on the left, behind section 105. Knock three times, then toe tap twice (for love).Your Friend said:AgOutsideAustin said:Ragoo said:you haven't been to Austin in a couple of years but you e-hump the horn honor everyday? Weird.Your Friend said:

Why would you walk from downtown to Pflugerock?

That horn school is s ****-storm in so many ways. I went to ExploreUT today with some extended family....
- Horn campus is a disaster. Parking is atrocious (but at least it was free). Parking garages are archaic/crowded.
- Buildings are old/decrepit. Even the newish Dell Computer Science building is cramped and underwhelming. Stairwells are too narrow. Rooms are small/unclean and poorly designed.
- Campus is trashy, literally lots of trash.
- Hard to get around (ADA-wise).
- Possibly interesting one-time-events were scheduled at the same time, making attendance impossible. Who's in charge of planning? Why schedule one-time events at *the same time*?
- Lots of the "booths" were just "crafts" for K-6 grade. What's the point of that? Generally speaking, what is the appeal of the *whole* ExporeUT event? Is it just to appeal to young kids so that UT can make their school appealing so that they can later reject them in order to try to increase their rejection rate? Community service is great/fine, but arts/crafts manifesting itself as "ExploreUT" is disingenuous.
- Generally speaking, students at booths were not engaging. One of the CS events was just a viewing of the inside of a desktop computer. WTH? Why not do a demo of some sort (show a CPU melting without heat-sync, show a demo of various sorting algorithms, show new/possible learning, or interesting topics) instead of being a bump on a log manifested as a mouthbreather behind a table.
IMO, associating yourself with tu as some kind of default affiliation, possibly due to an affinity toward Texas, is way off base and out-of-touch. Horn education/facilities are crumbling from the inside and manifesting itself as dilapidated, uncaring, egotistical, and uninteresting and are doing a disservice to folks in Austin and Texas. Shameful.
In contrast, I was recently at an A&M on-campus public educational event. There, students were engaging, parking was convenient, and the activities were thought-provoking. To be sure, the Aggie event definitely had opportunities for improvements.
But, if I had to summarize, generally speaking:
- Aggies and A&M seem to be trying to *make* a difference
- Longhorns and t.u seem to be trying to *be* different and have no leadership.
