After the start of the season with so many injuries and questions about the bullpen, you are absolutely smoking crack trying to revise history saying the Rangers were the team in contention this season. Hell, when JD made roster moves this summer, that was to get ready for 2016. You Astros are some dense mf'ers.

Astros had a 9-game lead in the West in August, and are relegated to puffing out their chests down by 2 with 2 games left. It's cute how they are now trying to learn how the rules work, seeing as how they wouldn't know what the post-season feels like.

I think at this point if the Astros and Angels win out there's a 1 game tiebreaker for the Division in Arlington. Loser gets the wild card.

All scenarios are laid out pretty well on espn's baseball page. It gets confusing as **** if the Astros, Twins and Angels end up in a 3-way tie for the wildcard.

Would add another level of interest for sure. This has been a great late season run, and the reason why MLB post-season is awesome when you're team is in the hunt.

The Rangers were not set up to win the division, where is this new historical reference coming from? Last place in 2014, and key injuries to start the season. This season was completely written off in late Spring, and the moves made mid-season was to prepare for 2016.

Does that actually make you feel better? The Astros aren't supposed to be good so it's ok?

You aren't financing the payroll, so why would you care other than the obvious answer of moral victories?
