A&M has more money than TTU. By a mile. Which usually means A&M has more resources. Which means A&M has more noteable faculty on staff as a result of more money. Which means A&M has some well educated high schoolers amongst its ranks due to the high ranking profs. Which means it is probably ahead of TTU in terms of overall academics.
To which I counter with, TTU can become a part of the A&M/UT world (in respects to academic standing) if it can get the funding that the state is hanging out there like a carrot. It is TTU's to lose and if we somehow **** it up and don't get that funding then we'll resort to being UNT-like for the rest of eternity.
