They've got some ugly front elevations over there in Texas! $1.3 million and you don't even get a kitchen with all drawers instead of plain base cabinets.

Photography is exceptional! I haven't seen a realtor go with the 'drunk with an iPhone' shots in a long time. Just trying to keep up with the odd tilted angles all of the pictures were taken from made me feel a little funky.

Its not ugly but I want this person to get their home sold but I don't want to get in trouble for not buying an ad, but if anyone is looking for a lake house on sam rayburn, this seller is a wonderful person and I really hope she sells her home in the next 45 days.

Every room has a different finish and my OCD is off the charts .

Yeah the different finishes everywhere bothered me. None of them were that great either. You would think they would've picked at least 1 good combo, but they were trying to use every possible trend from the last 2 decades.

That's a good way of putting it. Also the more I look at things the more shortcuts jump out at me. Already mentioned the cabinets, but also sticking the microwave in the pantry and going with fixed shelving in there. I keep waiting for the skinny vanity mirror trend to go away but there it is again.

Granny's urn on the floor next to the bathtub is an interesting design choice too.

The black and white tile thing is something I haven't seen put in since the really early 2000s. I had it in a bathroom and would never do it again. The white tile showed everything and always needed cleaning or else it would look terrible. Owners will be doing that a lot with all of that stuff the builder put in high traffic areas.

Yeah I'm not bothered by seeing cat stuff if they kept it clean. That's a lot of blue though…

That place has been on the market for a while. Of they didn't want all sorts of crazy documentation I would have gone to look at it. As it were I simply drove past it. The place is......interesting.

That place is Arrested Development house ugly! One of those houses you can guess the build year and easily be within +/- 2 years on.

On topic, I refer to that kind of crappy photography as drunk-vision. It's what you'd see if you bought the house and had way too much to drink, with rooms all set at weird and crooked angles and the occasional shot where the realtor had to have taken it while lying on the floor.

edit: amazing, the church I went to as a kid had the same carpet all throughout the sanctuary!

Wow, that is a striking difference in photo quality. I'm sold. Whenever I sell my house, I'm definitely paying up for a professional photographer.
