I did miss the grandma but saw the cat and door. Cst wasn't too wild but the door was def a bit of a wtf. Idk, the listing is not nearly as bad as so many we have had here though, and it is a very unassuming cookie cutter home.

I'm more weirded out by the gas burners build directly into the countertop. I'm sure a fair amount of consumers barely turn on their stoves but that looks like a great way to have a stained/burnt countertop if you actually did regular cooking on those burners.
Is there no glass at all around the master shower? Hope it comes with one of those fancy giant squeegees and a floor drain.

I've seen this in more new builds lately. Not the norm by any means, but I've seen it enough that it doesn't surprise me.
Fact is, a **** ton of people don't cook.
When we did a remodel a couple years ago we were at a specialty appliance store working with a sales rep. We were looking at the GE monogram ranges and they had gold/brass burner caps. Sales rep said they're just for looks, have to swap them out every time you cook or they'll miscolor/stain. We began talking about how dumb that is and she said you'd be surprised how many of her customers buy a several thousand dollar range just for looks and they never intend on using it.
For that price, I'm not having shower curtains and that seems to be what those are designed for. NOPE

Yeah the master bedroom fireplace is another one of those leftover 2000s beige things they must have had lying around in the corner of a warehouse somewhere. I'm sure either whoever owned it, or Habitat for Humanity Restore was thrilled to see it finally leave!
