That's exactly what it is.
But what about the house in King William?p_bubel said:
I'd tear it down and start over, but at that price and that area it would be tough getting the money back out of it. That big box was built in the 70's, I wonder what was on the lot before.
That said, I'm doing a sweet ass 1929 3,700 sf, Mediterranean estate in the neighborhood and it's going to be in the low $400s. It's not really a cheap neighborhood anymore.
Sounds nice. I look at that and think it's an incredible deal - in our part of town we're well over $200/sq ft but we bought in at $90 something only 7 years ago.p_bubel said:

Similar happened to me. Currently homes selling for $100 sqft in my neighborhood... we bought in in 2011 at $55 sqft (but she needed some love). We just sold at $95 sqft to move it - close mid-NOV.The Fife said:Sounds nice. And if that square footage is original the place must be really impressive.

The living room has massive wood beams and a massive fireplace. I'd post a photo but I think it's crossing a privacy line as it's too personal.
If the house was a mile and a half east we'd be talking in the million dollar plus range.

Ok I think I have one for you photogs out there. Do you think for $899k they could have taken better than cell phone photos?

FincAg is just being pretentious by putting the m in there instead of the k. It's a Finance thing, more specifically an oil and gas thing.JMac03 said:FIFY.FincAg said:

Still not saying it isn't sheisty photos for a $900k house.
You make a good point, but I'll add that those photos are very frustrating to see regardless of the price of the home. There's not a single image in the entire set that I'd feel good about charging money for.FincAg said:

Most people in Finance don't even use m vs. mm anymore, precisely for this reason. The inconsistency causes confusion.
