Anyone passionate about a specific money market to park cash in their Schwab account? Looks like they have several to choose from. I figured I'd just choose SWVXX but was wondering if anyone else has other thoughts
SWVXX is fine. You can sell CSPs against the cash you have in it.

How does that work, just buy SWVXX and it earns what?
the last three times I have purchased corporate bonds..
they have all been called a few months later!
I am trying to lock in for several years something that will return a guaranteed rate without worrying about the principal and doing better than the cost of inflation.
any other ideas for fixed income I can lock in for 5 and 10 years?
Jumped out of PLTR after a quick 50% gain and waiting for a pull back. I think this is just one of those stocks you sit in for 5-7 years. Also have the same feeling about RDDT, but also feel it's just a message board that has interruptions and won't turn a huge profit.

I'm looking for the same
Aren't their various forums of tickers like SWVXX, SPAXX
Some are more corporate bonds, money market or treasuries...etc?
I vaguely watched a video the other day and saved it. Need to.go back thru it. It lists several and thr type, the risks...etc
Also, the risks woth a corporate bonds being called early means you're money is returned and you're no longer drawing the interest? So if you aren't logging in regularly it could sit for a while in cash, with inflation chewing away at it

the last point you mention is exactly the problem that I see
1. it's annoying having to constantly go to the bank and have them move funds so I can do a "back door Roth IRA" purchase
2. then I make the purchase with corporate CDs, they get called, and I have to start all over again.
3. and to your point, I just happened to open the endless mail I get from Schwab to see that it was called so it could be easily missed and just sitting in money market at .3% interest
Real question- if this is a worry, why not just hire an Edward Jones or other advisor? The fees probably are cheaper than the anxiety and potential loss of return
I'm just gonna go with SPAXX and book mark their website, check it every month or so
With all the talk of the market broadening out I think I'm going to put some of my AI gains in SCHD too. I was pretty top heavy in AI so I cut that by about half and moved to SCHD for some solid value companies with a dividend that are likely to be part of the broadening out of the stock market with a little less downside
Anyone else looking at value ETFs like VTV or SPYV or even SCHD dividends? I still have some AI stuff but at some point these value companies will be the user's of AI and should see a bump long term
Greed has everyone high on the US but long term the rest of the world will eventually have their day i figure
Who knows. Goldman is pretty bearish on everywhere but the USA and they have their claws in everything.
I've heard some project non US stocks to be up at some point if for no other reason than greed is concentrated on the US stocks right now.
I'm not going in heavy but accumulating some VXUS
I already have my allocation to foreign. VXUS is in that bucket for me as well. Basically, my FA is advising to not invest anything more in international.
