Vast majority of our stuff is in ETFs, funds, bond ladder, and cash.

My long term individual investment holds are:

BTC
AMZN
XOM
WMT
OKE
PLTR
PLUG - I did sell about 75% of my PLUG and made a bundle on this at its ATH; what I have left is still up but not several thousand percent up and doubt it gets there again.
BTC is killing me lately

this thing better pump one more time!

Picked up 2000 shares of BAC at 7.50 in 2011 now at $40 with a .96 cent dividend per share - guess this long term hold is paying off. I have reinvested the dividend funds into a mutual fund paying 5% currently. The dividends started paying in 2016 I think.
I collect ticket stubs! looking for a 1944 orange bowl and 1981 independence bowl ticket stub as well as Aggie vs tu stubs - 1926 and below, 1935-1937, 1939-1944, 1946-1948, 1950-1951, 1953, 1956-1957, 1959, 1960, 1963-1966, 1969-1970, 1972-1974, 1980, 1984, 1990, 2004, 2008, 2010

I bought my first stock in 1990 -- 40 shares of PEP -- and still have it today.

My first dividend was $4. My last one was $140.96

PEP is said to be one of the greatest creators of wealth over that time with the spin out of Yum and Yum China.

My self managed would be awesome of IBIT got back to $40.

But I bought in as a long term hold, less than 2% of portfolio but a 1/3rd or so of my self managed account. I pretty much think of it as a lotto ticket and I won't know what the numbers are for a long time.

If it ever doubles or tripples I may take a chunk of original investment off the table and let the rest ride

Tom Lee was saying bitcoin to 150K this year several months back. I don't know what he thinks more recently but he doesn't seem to change his outlook much

Interest rate cut hopium really hit some of my long term holds in a good way today.

Russell +3.5%
ARKG. +5.8%
XBI +2.6%

It's about 22% of my portfolio, mostly Russell

My long term holds include the stock leaders in sectors.

In tech its NVDA, TESLA, Mag 7 ETF I will be in NVDA and TESLA forever unless things change drastically

In energy its XOM, Consolidated Energy

In consumer its Chipotle, CAVA (up 120%, they may be CMG in future?)

In medical its Gild, Abbvie, ETFs HRTS and CANC

In dividend investments I have QDTE (11.7% since March, pays weekly) and JEPQ 9.8% yield.

In speculation with stock purchases and straddles I work SMR (up 350% this year), JOBY and ARCH and a few others with prices aroun $1.

I am a great believer in trailing stop losses to preserve principle and gains.

appeared the announcement correlated with the sharp market drop then recovery before close

Those of us holding for the decade+ have to be considering the legitimate odds of him sitting in the oval office for the next 3 terms

Damn, the small and mid cap fudn in my 401K, isn't the Russell 2000, it's the Russell 3000 minus any S&P tickers.

So instead of windfall, it's more of a trickle. Over time this appears to outperform the Russell 2K so maybe it's delayed

But for now it's like 25% of what I was hoping for, about 25% of the recent daily Russell movement

Buying a little more apple. I think they're next phone update is suppose to unlock bells and whistles. I assume some AI toy is on its way too

I watched some Crypto babe podcast last night with Tom Lee

he maintains $150K in the medium term and much higher in the long term. says people always undervalue technological innovations which disrupt legacy

cited the cell phone and what it did to ATT and the Bell phone companies

I looked on my Fidelity Brokerage research for Palantir yesterday

has a 1.3 BEARISH rating

it is at the same price basically as it was four years ago.

seems JD Vance has as much interest in Bitcoin as in Palantir

I saw that, she's a looker.

I'm still in IBIT for about 1.5% of our total portfolio

I'm debating whether I should just sell what I got in PLTR to diversify out of AI some.

I did get a little bit more NVDA and MSFT today, and very little XLE
