I guess the market sees PLTR taking all the market share, in the same way they see CVNA dominating the future used car market. Huge premium for those outcomes.

CVNA isn't dominating use cars. They are securitizing their loans and selling them off. They have essentially created the CLO for used car loans. Go watch the big short, and now imagine instead of loans on houses of suspect credit quality being packaged together and sold off, it's loans of varying credit quality on depreciating assets at the peak of their historical valuation at a time when the consumer has never been more in debt and credit exposure has never been higher.

This is going to blow up in spectacular fashion.

I hearya on all that, def not long. The Hindenburg report flopped and Ally came out to back them up. Not sure how far away the tipping point on car loan defaults is, but looks like pretty strong resistance up here at $260.

Very pleased. After hotel, flight to Guadalajara, and operation was about $3,500. Maybe cheaper now with the weaker Peso. Go get it done, one of the best things I've ever done. The recovery sucks but worth it.

The reversal of the downtrend in late Nov, early Dec, stalled and it resumed it's downtrend. I'd avoid it right now and focus on other opportunities. I only have a small position and not worried about it long term, but not adding more right now. They were also hit hard by that hurricane a few months back, so I'm sure the effects of that are holding the stock price down until they're able to fully recover.
