Saw some Tom Lee mentions here. Hes still bullish, but when he goes bearish I feel it's more meaningful than others. His re-tweet might provide some insight. He has called short term pullbacks in past, which seperates him from other bulls in a bull market. We are in this speculative blow off now in a number of names that have no earnings or revenues. It does not mean the bull market is over. What it situationally means is that several names are presenting climatic, blow off, short covering rallies. When these reverse down, it…

I respect Tom but you have to remember that he was a megabull back in 2021 and 2022 as well, looking back some of his rosy predictions were ridiculous.
It would? You know that?CheladaAg said:Ag CPA said:I don't know, the last time I can remember that he got bearish a few days after the carry-trade crisis (in July?) and the market took back off literally the next day.FobTies said:

At the beginning of this year, his prediction that BTC would hit $150k by end of 2024 would have come to fruition had yesterday not happened.

Buying CLSK - stop $9.70.
Also sold Jan $10 puts for $1.02.
So your base case is that it was going to rally over 40% the last week of the year? Besides a relatively small drop yesterday what has changed?CheladaAg said:Ag CPA said:I don't know, the last time I can remember that he got bearish a few days after the carry-trade crisis (in July?) and the market took back off literally the next day.FobTies said:

I have to admit, I'm only half confident on these levels. BTC could be making a trip back under $90k, and if so, there's no way we are near the lows in these. So caution advised.Brewmaster said:i'm rolling w/ you on this oneHeineken-Ashi said:

Contemplating MARA too, super high short interest. Bitcoin rockets and shorts will get obliterated, lol.
Sentiment always leads fundamentals. Fundamentals are the last to find out that top or bottom is in. And dividends are even further behind.Dan Scott said:
LyondellBasel at $73.50 with 7% dividend. Chemical companies getting crushed. 5,000 shares purchased yesterday by a director.
At current cashflows dividend is not sustainable

What is the top of the Darvis box? I can't seem to locate his post with that.

I do not believe that SLV issues a K-1. I have owned it for years and to my knowledge have not been issued one. They are also not on this list of commodity ETF's that issue K-1's (although a bit old):

now is your bitcoin dip, if you haven't dipped your toes in yet. IBIT is how I'm rolling, but others may go MSTR, MARA, straight up bitcoin. bitcoin is at the bottom of a rising channel, under 98k could mean it invalidates, so low risk here assuming you set a stop.
IBIT at $56, minus 5% for your stop = set stop at 53.2, or looser 10% $51.
not telling you what to do, but IBIT has way more liquidity and way lower expense ratio than GBTC...bhanacik said:I went with GBTCBrewmaster said:
