the tried and true up today....the adventurous AI/quantum stuff all down. I'm going to buy that stuff on sale as I do think there's a short-term bubble there, but that like the tweet above said that they'll be all the rage for next year.

I'm going to slowly layer on more microsoft, google, amazon, etc.

I think we have some aerospace people on here - - any thoughts about Boeing's mid-term future?

Premise: Combination of "too big to fail", lack of at-scale competition, and fading away of the negative news cycle. Pretty much a value play on a fallen blue-chip.

I bought $190 Sept '25 LEAPS a few months ago, and when they declined 50%, I doubled down with some $200 Dec '25 expiration LEAPS. Since then, I've recovered, and am up a combined 14%.

While I'm happy to have been made whole by the steady recovery of the stock, I'm trying to plan exit strategy. I have a lot of runway (sorry for the pun, not sorry), so it's certainly not urgent, but thinking of alternatives including selling off half or buying a protective put if it continues to rise near-term. I hold none of the underlying stock at this point (I have off and on in the past).

Saw some Tom Lee mentions here. Hes still bullish, but when he goes bearish I feel it's more meaningful than others. His re-tweet might provide some insight. He has called short term pullbacks in past, which seperates him from other bulls in a bull market.

I don't know, the last time I can remember that he got bearish a few days after the carry-trade crisis (in July?) and the market took back off literally the next day.

I respect Tom but you have to remember that he was a megabull back in 2021 and 2022 as well, looking back some of his rosy predictions were ridiculous.

He's still super rosy. To hit his 2030 projection, the market would have to stay on the path it's been on since 2023. That's 6+ years of 20%+ returns. While not impossible, pretty much nothing can go even slightly wrong to make it happen. Either that, or we're about to get a liquidity event from the FED that makes 2020 look miniscule in size.

Also just bought MARA. Stop can be anywhere from $15-$18 depending on your risk tolerance.

At the beginning of this year, his prediction that BTC would hit $150k by end of 2024 would have come to fruition had yesterday not happened.

now is your bitcoin dip, if you haven't dipped your toes in yet. IBIT is how I'm rolling, but others may go MSTR, MARA, straight up bitcoin. bitcoin is at the bottom of a rising channel, under 98k could mean it invalidates, so low risk here assuming you set a stop.

IBIT at $56, minus 5% for your stop = set stop at 53.2, or looser 10% $51.

If MU can hold around here, you might get the next trip back to the top of ProgN's Darvas Box.

So your base case is that it was going to rally over 40% the last week of the year? Besides a relatively small drop yesterday what has changed?

LyondellBasel at $73.50 with 7% dividend. Chemical companies getting crushed. 5,000 shares purchased yesterday by a director.

At current cashflows dividend is not sustainable

I have to admit, I'm only half confident on these levels. BTC could be making a trip back under $90k, and if so, there's no way we are near the lows in these. So caution advised.

Sentiment always leads fundamentals. Fundamentals are the last to find out that top or bottom is in. And dividends are even further behind.

2025 might be the mass dividend slash year.

MU - like I said last week, I'm personally avoiding it. If it breaks below $83, mid $70's are next. And below that, it could dump. The reward is amazing if it turns around. But I don't like the risk.

I do not believe that SLV issues a K-1. I have owned it for years and to my knowledge have not been issued one. They are also not on this list of commodity ETF's that issue K-1's (although a bit old):

GWAV - the little penny I mentioned last week. If we get under 55 cents I'll be looking to buy, but will want to see a bottom and reversal first. Ideally it would bottom at 48 cents. Remember, it's a pure gamble. If you ever do anything with penny stocks, keep it small. You can always add. But these things can be impressively volatile, and sentiment is so weak that setups fail ALL THE TIME.

Kinda feels like the inverse of what most days have been right now.

Instead of every dip getting bought, every spike is getting sold off immediately.

not telling you what to do, but IBIT has way more liquidity and way lower expense ratio than GBTC...

and just entered a small IBIT and CLSK position...thanks for the tips from above...
