Well I had timed my exit on SOXL perfectly before close on Tuesday, but my mistake was buying back in way too early yesterday, trying to knife-catch the rest of the day, and now the last of my cash went in at $30.

Would've been great to go in with everything at $30, but I didn't see this kind of crash coming until after election.

Oh well, gonna grit my teeth and hope this is somewhat close to a bottom. Currently at 33.95 per share and lowered my targets to 35, 36, 37.

And let's not talk about SMCI...

On the bright side, a bunch of the profits I'd been taking and throwing into BRK.B for this exact reason are well shielded at the moment.

yes, I was being a little bit facetious...I'm actually very much underweight Mag7 so any broadening is helpful to my portfolio...and I very much need energy to run...but was just kinda joking...

Anyone have any knowledge of natural gas turbine stocks outside of large conglomerates like Mitsubishi and GE? Nuclear is in the spotlight now, but if you want to be real, the natural gas buildout is only just beginning.

Have a friend of mine that works closely in the same sector as SMCI and texted me this evening that he thinks SMCI's fundamentals are still way out of line from it's peers and he doesn't think the company offers any real competitive advantage near term or outlooking. Not sure what he really knows but his "fundamental" analysis based on PE and market cap would suggest that the stock price needs to correct ~70% or to $170/share in order to be inline with it's closest peers (Dell and HP). GEV is really the one I would invest in. I remember looking at it when it was $167 thinking that was high

M4 and anyone else that might've followed me regarding CROX. Sizable insider purchase with director purchasing about 2200 shares yesterday with cost basis of $112.59

Took a small bite into POWL here at $248. Will add more if it gets down further around $225 or below

Edit - Wow, what a gross mispricing when they had their IPO. Up ~160% with an end of March 2024 IPO date

HII down huge today on earnings. I bought a bit more as it is a long term hold for me.

I still believe it's a great stock, but dont know a fair value for it right now. Revenue supposed to grow by 25% looking out to 2027. Zero doubt the world needs more power and they make turbines for both gas and wind so they're well positioned.

Don't remind me. That ipo of $115 was a steal

Looking at adding to commodity holdings today with the pullback. I'm sure why lumber is on such a huge run. DR Horton had bad guidance and 10-year yields are tracking back up. Inflation already being priced in?

Added some Dec's and lowered basis on Nov $31's. Nothing crazy. Most positions are still green.

Sitting on the 610 EMA on hourly which is the longest EMA I run on my charts. Usually marks a very significant low. Sitting on the 144 EMA on 4hr. Sitting on 1st support just below the 21 EMA on daily.

Pretty significant area if it can hold.
