If what they report is even remotely true, then it's infested with pedos and some of those rooms kids can go into are sick!

Damn, seems like everything I'm in is getting hit by Hindenburg. Why I don't like being in tech these days.

My son plays Roblox a lot. I sit in adjoining rooms and can listen to his conversations. Not once has there been an issue with who he's interacting with online. But everyone's experience is different and also the fact there are millions of users on that platform so there will definitely be bad actors on it but every social platform deals with that issue.

The thing about Hindenburg.. though they can be predatory at times, they almost always initiate when there is legitimate issues with a company. They are usually the tip of the iceberg.

You can completely turn off chat for your kids in Roblox fyi. There are some games that have other ways to communicate but those are easier to avoid

Bought back 100 SMCI (@ $45.70) to replace some of the 440 I sold yesterday. (Unfortunately my average sell price yesterday was probably around $44.50.)

But even with the not so perfect timing, not too unhappy with grabbing shares at this price.

Got another buy set below at $43.

Currently at 200 shares, first target is $51 and leaving the second at $60 for now.

Rolled my PLTR covered calls ($40 Dec) out to $50 Jan versions. I'm not quite ready to let half my position go. I may be sorry, but hopeful that the run still has legs to it.

Continued extensions made me re-examine. If it doesn't top in this region and goes over $50, it's likely it's already in the 3rd wave of a larger degree, with the first wave top being March, which would be a big congratulations to the ones who stuck with it and huge disappointment for those of us waiting on a retrace. But I'm still not 100% sold that's the case. It's moved into the upper section of the channel and those lines can be used as support and resistance. I still think it comes down to the volume shelf area at some point. That shelf hasn't moved much off $15 in months. A 3rd wave rally in a larger structure would have volume pouring in and pushing that shelf up. Perhaps it's only the beginning. We will see. No bias here.

I took a bite on this one @$26. It's hero or zero but worth the risk for me.

Back in on TLT. Next target $109. Stop $93. Can run a lower stop at $91.50 if you don't mind more risk. Play is still valid above that.

Ultimate target range of $115-$120 is valid through July of next year.

This is not a small play for me. This is putting a good chunk of my account in something with very limited downside based on the stop level and protecting it through a potential turbulent period on the horizon.

SLV/SPX relationship chart. Ideal support was hit. If this chart holds today's low, we could be entering the last build up period before an explosion move higher. Which could mean any of these options..

1. Silver rocketing and SPX flat
2. Both moving up and Silver far outperforming
3. Silver flat and SPX falling
4. Both falling and SPX falling MUCH harder.

I'm watching this chart like a hawk considering my significant investment in silver and equities being very overbought. Will provide updates. This could move quick, or it could take another month. Below the 61.8% things get murky and harder to track. Below the Wave 2 low and it could either be a wider, deeper 2nd wave with a lower terminal target above for the 3rd, or it could be bearish. Still leaning bullish as long as support holds.

I have a question for the guys on this form. What do you consider a "safe" trailing stop % to any long term stock you own? I am not a day trader and am more of a buy and hold, but keep reading the pros on here saying protect yourself, and want to make sure I set up some stop limits on my account (currently do not have any stop limits). I've been able to beat advisors with the help of this group, so I appreciate and value your opinion. I'm mid 30s so plenty of time to recover, but just want to be protected a little bit.

There is no set standard. Find a spot right now that if it broke below (no matter if it reclaimed higher or not) would cause you emotional duress. The $ loss between current price and there is your trailing stop.

Another strategy is to take the biggest drop in recent history for a stock, and apply that same drop to right now. If that happening crushes you, you then you likely need a smaller trail amount.

SPX is set up for a nice move higher. Nasdaq is approaching major resistance. Russell is treading water.

I still believe something is brewing. But as long as you manage risk, there is likely gains to be made.

Welcome to the clubhouse and continue on your journey. I bolded two important points in your post. Age doesn't really matter with respect to performance. It just makes us olds jealous because we know the power of compounding returns and getting old sucks. Learn the market and you'll never depend on someone else (advisor) to build your future. Write this down, no one will care about your money than yourself.

Hang Seng - might affect China stocks. I expect it to hold under previous high and dip back down into the Keltner bands before one last push up. Then all hell will break loose over there.

Probably nothing, and a totally random question.

I hold some 10/18 155 POWL puts that have been dead for awhile on bids. Then today I see they're up 950% and someone bought one for .74 or something like that. Just one single put, not even at the midpoint of the 0 and the ask if I remember right.

Can anybody think of any reason why something like that happens? I assume it's just noise but was just curious.
