SLV - Get out and push boys. Let's close over $26.50 and set up a ripper next week.

So you're saying if SLV closes over $26.50, AGQ could be a good play for next week....

I want $26.50 because that's my daily target lol. It's already setting up pretty bullish. But that would seem to confirm it. End of August is expected to be strong for silver. It's the potential September - October bear case that we still aren't out of the woods on.

So being new to trading, I'm not sure how to interpret Schwab's disclaimer on AGQ that it is only meant for daily trading. I know some here hold TNA over multiple days even though it has a similar disclaimer. Any reason in particular for the disclaimers?

Its a 2x leveraged stock for silver. Has more inherent risk and upside

AGQ is a leveraged ETF. It mimicks 2x the moves of silver and its main assets are futures contracts. It's extremely volatile and not meant for holding. You trade it short term only. I have some Dec and Jan calls on it and am prepared to lose everything or make a fortune. There's not much in between. If you buy shares, every 1% dip in silver will seem much more extreme in AGQ.

What a damn good week. Not one meaningful dip to speak of, unless it all goes to hell in a handbasket in the last hour here.

Hang around with a woman too much and you start drinking like one too. I'll make sure to keep some wine coolers in the fridge in case you ever stop by.

McDs has raised their gross margins from a historical 39 percent to 59 percent. Might as well go to Whataburger regardless.

MARA - Have $19-$21.50 target range and the upper and lower targets have a timing range of 2-3 weeks. If you didn't get in this week, not too late for a little mini run of $3-$5 per share. But if it reacts downward off that zone, it could be setting up for new lows. I will likely sell 75% of my shares up there but be willing to buy back if it can hold and prove out bullishness.

HTZ - as long as it holds the June 20th $2.91 low, I have between Sep 19th and Nov 11th for it to get to $6.75-$9.25 range. With it being at $3.44 now, it's got a phenomenal R/R with stop at $2.90.. 54 cent per share risk and minimum $3.31 profit potential. That's potential of nearly 2x gain vs loss potential of 15%. Risk is 6x the loss potential. So buy the shares this week as long as its not falling hard (if it is, wait to see if it holds $2.91). If your broker allows it.. which they should, buy with an OCO order (instead of standard order) which means you set your limit buy around current price, set your stop at $2.90, and set your target at $6.75. Make sure order type on all of them is GTC (good to close). An OCO means the stop and sell targets are automatically placed once your buy order goes through, and either the stop or the sell hitting first triggers the other to cancel. Doing this means you can buy the stock and then just ignore it until you either lose 15% of what you spent or gain 96%. No maintenance no worries.

I take 100% of these types of trades that I spot. Winning 1 out of 6 of these would be a breakeven on all of them. Winning 2 out 6 similar trades and you are in the green on all of them. And if it gets close to $6.75 you can always change the target to the max target while adjusting the stop upward as a hard stop or changing it to a trailing stop.

You using stop market versus stop limit orders on the OCO? That is what I have done when putting in stops but just wanted to ask. I'm risking a big gap down overnight and then it sells at open but by that time a may be likely ready to bail. Or should I be doing a limit where I can see if I want to ride our a recovery on big gap down that didn't place due to the stop limit?

LOL, just seeing all these now. Actually low carb and lots of beef, no problems at all in the stall. Bacon for breakfast, beef for the rest.
Most noticeable has been mental focus and energy, all morning without coffee and I've added more muscle and leaner.
