I believe it. LNG is booming. LNG tanker construction is booming. LNG as fuel for vessels is growing.
to me, it's all about the terminals and being able to export which is why I want to try and find the next "Cheniere" at a ground floor level. it's a race at this point and they are god tier so just trying to locate the next one.

Cameron LNG is my other LNG customer but they are a joint Venture and owned by Sempra and Mitsubishi group. So you can't relay on them to move Sempra stock if that makes sense. Which is why I would like the ones that are strictly LNG only tickers.

They pinned NVDA just below $105 with all the puts expiring at $100 and all the calls between $105-$110. Amazing.

can't recall who brought it up but I placed an alert on SIG at 75 that went off this week. Looks to have some additional room down to at least 70, but I'm going to be watching.
I did and I haven't bought yet but my alert went off as well. It looks like hot garbage on their chart so I just moved it into my primary focus list and will watch it a lot closer now. Let things play out for awhile during this correction and if it get's crushed further in a selloff, say low $60's- high $50's, then I'll be buying because the supply people wanting to get married every year remains pretty constant.

New Fortress $NFE had a big haircut on revenue/earnings miss. They delayed bringing on one of their facilities, Altamira. I started a small position today.

NextDecade was a shining star and the govt ruling really sucks for them.

Tellurian was completely bailed out lol. They've been on life support for so long and they finally manned up and fired Charif. They sure took a TON of shareholder money over the years and paid themselves very well.

I bought Chart Industries $GTLS a while back, beat down some as of late, will probably add more. A good investment for LNG buildout.

We really need to see international prices (JKM and TTF) over $10

I don't like posting this but maybe it might put some things in perspective. Across my mom, son, friend and my account, I own just under 600 shares of SMCI with an average price of $795ish and haven't sold a share and will not. Everyone here are intelligent, so you can do the math. I'm pissed at this overreaction to their ER and know that I have a lot money tied up, but I'm more pissed that I can't buy more.

Tl;dr: I won't lose money on this position, I just have to have money tied up for longer than I thought I would have to.

Ok, yall can probably tell I've been honing in my trading system. Essentially, it's a mix of about 15 indicators and strategies. It's been thoroughly backtested and is now being actively forward tested. One indicator might give one call on a timeframe, but if others are bunched closer to another level I will default to the closer target. The goal is to provide minimal target levels. That means, once a level gets hit, it doesn't necessarily mean price can't continue. It just means a minimum target was hit. When targets bunch together, it's a good sign of a high probability area. If a target doesn't hit within its timeframe, it gets changed to unprinted which means it can't be relied upon. Yet, if price is moving toward another target in the same range, the unprinted target has often acted as a point of support or resistance, and sometimes even the final point before a reversal. That's why I keep them on there. Targets that have printed are removed. I don't care about success levels. Only open levels so I can determine where price might go in the future.

Orange: intraday to 1-1/2 trading days and going through next day's first hour if it ends after hours.
Yellow: Intraday to 3 trading days and going through next day's first hour if it ends after hours.
Light Green: 1-10 trading days and going through next day's first hour if it ends after hours.
Dark Green: 1-60 trading days (though completing in the first 3-5 days is pretty rare)
Blue: 1-24 weeks
White: 1-24 months

Here's SMCI. These take a while to chart, so I won't often post charts like this.. will usually just give levels like I did with DIS earlier OR I will notify if there's a really likely target we can play like TSLA had a chance to be this morning. And every so often, we might get a high probability target with juicy options potential to maximize reward.

We have a target that was almost hit this week valid through Monday mid day. Not much to trade to get there. We then have an unprinted potential resistance at $616 with next target of $691 available through Wednesday morning. Given the short timeframe, we would need to have a hell of a rally to hit the Wednesday target. I don't see it as probable, but it's certainly possible as SMCI still has a small float and is extremely volatile. What's really enticing is the $750-$800 targets. $750 has until early October and $790 through election. I'm likely buying Monday if price is not making new lows with stop at recent low and plans to just trail stop with target $750-$800 range. But I want to point out the bottom of the screen. We have the longest timeframe target available through the end of next year. Most lower targets have gone unprinted (the $320 and $360 ran through today, so that's good news. But the levels remain as unprinted targets, but if this falls to a new low, there's a ton of air below. So stop is very important. We have $1,020 available through end of the year if it wants to really run. Above that, and there's no higher targets.

This system will not predict new highs or new lows if trading at ATH's or ATL's respectively. And if there is no targets below the lowest target, that tells you that breaking the closest low opens the instrument to freefall with little liquidity to help save it. Similarly if NOT at ATH's and no targets above.. a move higher could lead to a gamma squeeze with no resistance to slow it down.

For next week, if price can't get above $700, we might be in no man's land on reliable shorter term targets until new data comes in. I'll update as we go.

Strategy I've had luck with that some might consider when looking to enter a stock on a dip. Sell puts ~5-10% otm for at least a portion of what you're looking to buy. Whether or not assigned, that will lower your basis on the shares you own (or might eventually own).

Examples:

NVDA- wanted to buy when it went sub $100 last week, so sold Sept $100 put for over $10 premium. If I get assigned great, my basis is $90. If not, I pocket $1k. And may try it again.

POWL- when it dipped sub $160 a couple months ago I wanted to buy so sold $155 puts for like $12 in premium. It bounced but then came back down and I got assigned. Great, I wanted to buy it anyway but now my basis is less than $145.

SCMI- got excited by the hype last week pre-earnings and wanted in as it hovered around $600. Rather than pulling the trigger I sold a $550 sept put for a little under $40 premium as a hedge. That ended up really saving me as it dumped this week because if assigned, I'm at a $510 basis on a great stock, and if it rallies over $550, I'll take the $4k premium.

I spent a year chasing OXY at $60 and sold like 7 rounds of $60 puts on it because that was my number. Never assigned but made way more on premium than if I just would have bought it outright..

Anyway, if you already want to enter a stock at current levels, just something to consider to manage risk and still generate a few bucks.

Ride the wheel! When it gets assigned, sell OTM calls at a target you dont think will get called but are happy to collect profit at if it does.

Just a caution.. in a weak market, this strategy gets obliterated. Works best in a melting up market. We might get back to that, but we are not there now. Realized volitility is still very high and it doesn't come down immediately.

TSM - High probability targets at EMA bunch $163, volume shelf $172, and top of cloud $185 that coincides with gap close. Weekly lower target printed on Monday. Hourly upper target printed in the afternoon session and left a $140-$150 range lower target. So watching the first half of tomorrow for option and/or shares entry potential.

$163 hit on the dot. A drop to low $150's can still be possible. Upper targets between $170-$185 are still expected but expire in early September.

If we get the move to $150 and no lower follow through, I'll again assess calls and possibly a share position.
Missed my trigger on this as it never came into expected buy zone.. but didn't miss by much. Will need to work on identifying trigger zones, as this one has played out as expected.

Here's the targets on the table.

If we can get the lower target next week and reversal between $150 and $155, there's a great R/R aiming at $180 range with max gain at upper gap fill $185. Below $147 (which is the max drawdown of the $155 target zone), and I avoid as the $133.50 is wide open.

Here's one with very few targets. None of them higher. That means that I have nothing to guide on as it moves up and it can run if it wants to. But the lower targets through next week give me pause that it will run next week. I'd like to see one or both get taken out. Pretty much every target on a daily and weekly timespan was taken out with recent action. I'm honestly not sure what it means. Might need to backtest a little more for similar situations. What can we lean on when so few targets are available? Volatility? Gamma? Volume profile? Idk yet. Added to the research list. What I do know, is that one of the few targets left is FAR below with 1.5 years left to hit.

Right? If the price target of SMCI is a 2x then it makes infinite more sense just to buy NVDA which is probably in the same boat and a significantly stronger company.

I hope people realize if NVDA comes out and signals weakening demand for AI all these tail plays are going to get blown away.
