If there was a fund that made the exact opposite moves I've made in my post-grad life, those that invested would be fabulously wealthy. As a result, I spent 2022-now just putting cash away into money markets. I found this thread a month ago and have barely dipped my toe in following ProgN & Heineken for the most part at a super low volume (hundreds of dollars) and it's been a good month percentage wise. I'm 99% cash just earning my 5% money market return on the sidelines and ready to buy some dips.

I want to be clear that I'm the idiot who invested into DKNG, Jumia, Bumble etc. at the peak of the market a couple years ago. I'll log into that account when I'm 70 years old and hope it's worth more than the 80% loss it was last time i checked Now that I've worked for a few years and taken 0 financial risk with a sum of cash in the MM account, I wanted to throw out some potential bargains that may already be addressed above and get any thoughts. I can't possibly do worse than I do following my own gut/ layman research strats...

Thoughts on GT?
Thoughts on CLOV?
Thoughts on RDDT?

Others besides the classic WWR, ARM, POWL, SLV types I've been reading about a ton (thanks for insight on those and others btw)?

I assume if you liked it on 7/17 you love it even more now? Closed at $2.88 today.

Go Apple. How crazy would today have been if Apple's earnings were a disaster.

SPX ich cloud reversal also printed. The batter is hitting bombs over the fence with this strategy right now.

Could bounce from here, could test lower into the green cloud. Below the cloud and May 31 low becomes critical support at the bottom Keltner band and 144 EMA.

If today was a low and we bounce, ich cloud reversal back up says pin it to 4450 next week. From there, who knows. Likely more selling, as the weekly ich cloud reversal has 4800 valid target through end of November.

And if top is in, monthly cloud reversal has 3800-4300 target range until April 2026. And as you saw, these reversals don't have to take all 21 periods. Some happen fast. Some happen slow.

Something to keep in mind. Pray for a new high soon.

Not ideal, but still valid. More likely a diagonal now. This is my minimum bullish cass. Getting to $7 range without a significant retrace would pivot me back to the original target near $10. Earnings next week will tell us.

In a contracting economy i don't see a lot of tires getting sold (on new cars or people driving a lot), the other 2 are meme silliness. Add smci and possibly alb to your classic (at least recent classic) list and keep watching. I still think crwd is going to be the buy of a lifetime when the bleeding stops

I know a trader who works for a major tire manufacturer. He is bearish on manufacturing and has put on his bear suit.

I love it. It defended that $90 level everyday as the macros were going down and it took the worst day of the year (at the open) on a Friday and fear all around for it to break below it. This one isn't going to be a highflyer, but it's not going to hurt you at these levels and provide excellent ROI from here. IMHO

I doubt that tweet is accurate at all, because Israel has the capability to level Tehran. I just posted it for the board to be aware of just in case. If that tweet does come to fruition, and Israel retaliates in kind, then it doesn't matter what you're in, other than real estate, because it'll get crushed. A nervous market on a Friday doesn't need this though.

My PLTR puts finally paid off, and in grand fashion.

At this point, I'll be surprised if it makes a new high before seeing $13-$17 range first. I called a top before and it extended for one more, but didn't take out it's 2021 open gap at $31.50.

But the 144 EMA has defended it as support every single time dating back to September 2023. Go look. So make sure you set your daily EMA to 144. When that breaks, its going to be a full sell. 144 is sitting at $23 right now.with bottom Keltner band at $20. On weekly, the 34 EMA has been the support and its at $22.50. Below that, and it attacks the weekly 144 at $17.

So $23, $22.50, $20 and then $17 are the major supports. Through all of those and nothing until $13.

Back to daily, the 8 EMA is almost touching the 34. If that crosses down, you start to see the downward move.

On hourly and 4hr, the ich cloud upward reversal has $27 as the the bounce target resistance and all EMA's have crossed downward on the 4hr. So any move up you should be biased that its only a bounce until the EMA's can cross back up and realign. Only then can it attack a new high with ATH as next resistnace after $27.

Hope that helps. Pull up a chart in log mode and look at everything I said. Have 8, 21, 34, 55, and 144 EMA's showing.

killer info sir. I've added the 144 to my toolbelt. Interesting S&P is about there too. Yeah I'm just in these PLTR shares for a short swing, bounce. The volume the last 10 minutes really attracted me to it. If it dips into the teens, I will gladly load the boat for long term.

Clearly, everyone in America is trying to learn about bonds today lol. Inversion foretells the recession. Uninversion heralds recession onset. Does depth of inversion predict severity or does depth not matter as much?

Agreed. I've been buying bonds for the first time over last year or so but was starting to feel like I had accumulated too much, and not enough S&P so I sold 15% of my bonds and bought the S&P today.

I'm gonna keep the rest of my newly acquired bonds
