According to EIA weekly inventory report, US oil production fell last week back down to 12.2M bpd from 12.4M bpd the prior week.

I do not believe the 12.4M numbers EIA reported for the Week Ending June 9 and Week Ending June 2. Why?, you might ask. Well,...because someone needs to explain how oil production went up .2M barrels in those two weeks (from 12.2M week ending May 26) when oil rigs are declining sharply.

Oil rigs have fallen from 586 on May 12 to 552 last Friday June 16. So we have sharply declining oil rigs and a two week bump up in US production? LOL! Yeah, right.

I'm sure EIA will ** correct ** these numbers too.

I added some PXD today. XOM:PXD spread signaled to add PXD. Added at $199.76

Just announced JB Administration entering in the arena for another 3 million barrel crude purchase for the SPR. Delivery in August. You think somebody is getting worried that crude inventories are going to see a drop. LOL! What a clown show. Doesn't matter. Patience pays. OPEC+ earlier announced cuts are showing up now and July 1st 1M bpd new cuts are about to start. Green Energy faction really really hates fossil fuels. GLTA!

Baker Hughes reporting the oil rig count dropped again by 6 this week to 546 oil rigs. This is the lowest oil rig count going back to early April 2022. The important aspect of the rig count is that it can't be manipulated by EIA and it is a true indicator of future oil production. Here are some oil rig numbers for anyone interested:

Jan 13, 2023...... 623 oil rigs (near term peak)

March 03, 2023...... 592 oil rigs

May 12, 2023...... 586 oil rigs

May 19, 2023...... 575 oil rigs

June 23, 2023...... 546 oil rigs (todays report)

The fall in oil rigs has been accelerating over the last 6 weeks.
