Basically each month has its own futures contracts. The ETF isn't going to take physical delivery of the natural gas so it has to sell the current months contract and buy the next months contract. I believe BOIL does this over a 5 day period. Don't remember exactly which days it happens on but it's the same every month.

Newly resume downtrend of beer candles on daily and weekly. Indicators show lower to go on both daily and weekly with technicals showing support zones between $50 and $55.
I don't think it sees $70 again until it's exhausted to the downside. Would be hard to imagine a beer candle bounce getting that high before the weekly indicators bottom. But I've been wrong before.

What is the bear case for energy stocks this year?
I mostly trade tech/growth, but transitioned heavier into energy towards the later half of 2021 which have performed well. I'd like to continue to hold them because I have heard the bull case, but I want to start protecting some of these positions that are up 40-80% against the bear case.
