I was going to add, O&G may not be the best short term play if that happens. I was going to suggest GUSH, but looks like it needs a pullback first.
VUG - a growth ETF I have my eyes on. If we get rotation back into growth (short term) it could be a nice play.

This morning's moon mission felt like a "multiple round trips" kinda day to me so i averaged down puts until i started losing faith. Then trimmed steadily into the dip down to 381, scalped some calls, now looking for a reentry for the trip back up to 383.3
This drop just isn't stopping… I can't find anything that caused this either.
Wild day. Will post trades later. Mostly stock.

Relentless selling for almost 2 hours. Let's see if we model T or not. Getting back to that intraday 20sma sure would be great for the calls I just bought.
Exited 75% VIX Dec 30c bought at 1.38. Not a big gain only 25% but leaving some for any movement.
Might use this as an opportunity to jump back into some XOM calls.
I wish I hadn't been so busy today! I would've gone hella short at 3850 but got caught in clinic. When I finally got logged in, it was kinda in no man's land at 3815 and then had more office crap.
Would've traded 0 DTE SPX with reckless abandon today. Almost purely unidirectional since 3850 range. Probably missed a 10 bagger lol

If you can split the trade up so that you take profit in chunks instead of all at once, then sell or hold is no longer a binary answer. That makes it easier for me at least.
