Jumped in on 95 Dec TLT calls. I like R:R here for a potential bounce to 100. As 30K would say it either works or it doesn't. Will cut at new low.

I'm a simpleton, but I think this market is due a 20% at least bear market rally.

It just needs the catalyst whether it's bull **** or not.

some whale is loading January 90P's and pretty big OI too. Regardless, I think you guys get a bounce next week and TLT pays at least short term.

In my simpleton view of flow, you can use bid or ask supposedly.

But there's also no way to know if it's a hedge or not.

yeah I was just looking for strikes that stood out to me via Bid/ Ask, but then I also looked at volume and OI.

I wouldn't sweat it, I don't think it means much yet.

Bear markets typically don't end until the FED actually stops the constrictive monetary policy, and turns to loose money.

It's more than the signal that was delivered this morning. They have to actually pause.

In other words, this week was an amazing bull trap. A bull trap that may continue for another week until Powell breaks their hearts.

I'm also a simpleton hit it would make more sense to sell long dated ATM/near the money puts vs buying them?

More profit on OTM puts that are bought vs sold, no?

Moreover, why would anyone pay for 3 months of premium for a $2-3 move??
