It doesn't particularly matter cause it'll just open elsewhere anyway, but the shenanigans that appear to go on right before extended hours close are always curious. SPY currently fighting over 394 with very light trading

They're normally within a few points of each other. I tend to just look at SPX because I trade cash session primarily

Thanks. They're mostly flat right now anyway but trying to learn the tools. Finance masters but I've been in law too long so I don't remember any of this (and we never learned technical analysis)

This is an example of where I set my trails too tight (thought 397/8 would be most we'd see today) when I got above 100% and gave up solid $$$. Had meetings and couldn't react to alerts so set trails. While still more than a double on a larger trade I left a lot on the table.
These peaked at 19.60. Closed at 17.91.
I'm ok with it but always a good reminder to go back and look at not only losses but also wins to see what you could have done to improve.

What I'm watching today. Unless we have more capitulation won't surprise me to see range in the circle to weeks end. Loses yesterday low and it'll be fun.
Sometimes it's best to not trade. Yesterday was a big move and don't forget what week it is.

Without making this political, figured the market would be pricing in high inflation so beating the expectations even a little bit would have some sort of positive impact. Guess not.

Just grabbed friday 390p for 2.55 at the 395 touch, set a 2.04 stop loss then came back and sold them for 3.05! Acting almost like i know what I'm doing!
With that kind of action I am guessing 390 is going to be up to bat early this morning.
