It could be, since we're still in a bear market and the rug could get pulled at any time. However even with the selloff at the end, this day is pretty bullish to me. We retested a bit and then advanced. With more stocks closing above the 5/10/20-days.

Maybe he gives the real trade ideas to his club and uses his mass platform to create liquidity for his followers? As long as he doesn't invest opposite his advice, himself, that may not make SEC radars.

Been busy but trading here and there. The family and I are on a northern New Mexico road trip. First stop was Red River now at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya (this is a hell of a deal if you're a Hyatt point nerd like I am).

Have traded intermittently and have had a lot of success. Most of the trades I've made on this trip have been scalps I've spent just a few minutes in. Some even a few seconds. I've not wanted to stay in trades long since I'm on vacation. Honestly this is probably the way I should always trade.

I also closed out a TQQQ position today when FOMC caused a ramp about an hour before close. Freakin market has tanked after these meetings lately… honestly may jump in some SQQQ over night now that I think about it. Gonna finish this drink first.

Also wanted to update my trading since my last post.

The day after my last update was crappy. Took a -10% day but have been able to recover those gains over the last couple weeks

NBC, a bastion of honesty and integrity. Yeah my scenario isn't likely, but as consistently bad as his takes have been the past couple of years there's got to be something else to this.

I made $42.05 today lol
Bought an xsp 384 call for 1.09 at 10am, then another for .79 at 11, then things perked up and my smooth brain realized i could sell 385s against them to lock in some gains without making a day trade, so at 1:50 i did that for .65. Xsp closed at 384.51 so if i wouldn't have sold the 385s it would have been a red trade. Edit: and i suppose $42 on $188 capital exposed is 22% return, don't guess there's anything wrong with that

I also bought some random weeklies: ttd 44.5, more vale 14.5 for a nickel, and uco 37 for .25

Perhaps but today we crossed the Model T of last week's high and low and we failed to hold it. It broke briefly above and then failed to hold that 3848ish level. Perhaps it tries again tomorrow but it tried that area several times over a few days like a Mancini mentioned and then he said it would break above.

It did and then quickly lost it. Fade me though. I can read the charts. I just can't trade them lol.

I never took the model t to be a sign of support, resistance, determination of direction, or anything else...all it is is the theory that after a fast big move most stocks will retrace that move 50%. Once model t is achieved forget about it, that price doesn't matter anymore, but you can often make a trade based on the assumption it will make that retracement (i think this is null and void with respect to earnings, where pead comes into play)

I do subscribe to the theory that after we reach model T, we can look for a new direction. However, IMO we have to mind the timescale. The model T is based on daily candles. For intraday today, we had a big move upward after an initial test down. Some profit taking at the end of the day isn't that surprising and I don't think that's a hugely important data point. I do think it says if we continue down over the next couple of days that we are likely to test last week's low, if not leg down further. For now the price action the past two days looks bullish to me and I think we have a better than 50% chance that our next 100 point move is upward. Still not high certainty, though, and even an aggressive downside move tomorrow wouldn't surprise me at all.

What's happening Gents! Reading the thread each night but haven't posted much. Miss y'all and playing in the sandbox with ya. Trading each week but hard to post so don't want anyone to risk not being able to manage the trades if I did.

Doing my nightly chart check ups and scans.

Trend lines and SRs have been drawn for a while. Interesting ping pong. Added a few arrows for y'all to keep an eye on.

We are still bear flagging and in a downtrend so be careful getting giddy to the upside until it confirms. Traders market IMO.

I think that's generally right but if a retrace continually hits a a Model T, wouldn't it by definition be following a trend/channel line? Maybe my math is off….

Friday's employment numbers, CPI and PPI are the main main focus right now. If inflation has peaked, then that's a positive IMO.

QQQ is above the 5- and 10-sma as well as the 20-ema. All three are also trending upward, as of yesterday's close. That's bullish.

Still way under the 50- and 200-ema, both of which are trending down. That's bearish.

Volume has felt lowish, but QQQ continued to trade consistently above 250 million shares per week during 2022, which is elevated compared to the last 10 years.

My take - short term bullish and on a path to test the pivot at $296.5, and maybe even the $314.5. Any bad news could lead to a rug pull though. My longer-term sentiment remains pretty bearish.

My bullish setups I'm watching: QQQ, MSFT, TSLA. If they stay over opening prices could really run. I hate META, but that one could run as well.

Bearish setups: if the market begins heading down AAPL, IWM, DIS, and TSLA have room to dive in the short term.
