MSFT might be a good one to watch for market indication. It is squeezing a bit at 266. Taking 266 and running to 267 would be a green sign. Everything else is bleeding slowly (looking at you O&G)

730 could be the support line for TSLA. It bounced around there most of Friday.

AAPL 142
MSFT 264.5
AMZN 114

The four big tech boys all made it to support (with AMZN not moving far to get there). See if that leads to a move up together or loss of support.

I got chopped up a bit, but I've done much better than if I'd have held on to puts with a stop at opening price or if I'd held on to calls all day. So there's that, I guess.

For you guys, I would trade UNG over BOIL. BOIL is for pros and you can get murdered on it. Target $24, stop should be 20.5 or so. $0.70 in downside, $2.80 in upside. I like those odds.

I'd be fine with the markets loitering around here until we get into Q2 earnings starting next month, updated earnings estimates are going to be what really moves the market one way or the other into the fall.

To that point, I expect guidance to be even worse. If the market shrugs that bad news off, we'll have a nice green run back out of this bear market. I don't think that will happen, though, and expect us to head back down running up to those.

XOM looks to open around its 50 day EMA.

I'm thinking about having some calls in XOM/CVX just in case Biden backtracks on his tough guy oil stance over the next few weeks. This would be based on a lack of success getting friendly OPEC nations to produce more oil and Marcon basically asking Biden to expand US production. Without any policy change I think the stocks are looking good to recover back to their recent highs.
