That's accurate only in terms of the immediate trade.
I saw that piece too. I would think the majority of their money comes from making new loans. If the economy was growing, then their would be a demand for investment capital and mortgages. None of these are happening. The only people I would loan money to heading into a recession would be Ag and Energy. I never understood their position. I am biased to the downside because of our current leadership and his energy policy. I think energy inflation is going to crush consumer demand and slow the economy and I have very little hope of that changing with the current Administration.LMCane said:two months ago the "experts" (especially on CNBC)Txducker said:

were claiming that higher interest rates from the Fed would make bank stocks extremely attractive...

Well that summer bull run was fun, wasn't folks? Back to pain. It looks like we will test that low near 3800.
Brief pause in selling : 3900 was support/bounce zone and #ES_F clearly recognizing it bouncing here for 2hrs. Lack of follow through is not good for bulls though, which suggests 3860-70 is in sight. Bulls need >3930 to squeeze this afternoon

3860-70 is final support before 3740 https://t.co/viiHCWnDM0

Decided to roll my XOM CC's 6/10 $99's to 6/17 $102's at even money.
What a day! The spanking continues.
Trying to roll the 6/10 $105's to 6/17 at $0.45 = * FILLED *
Trying to roll the 6/10 $107's to 6/17 at $0.19 = * FILLED *
The 6/10 $111's I'm letting expire
LOL, could be right, but we are the most oversold we have been all year. I'm basically quoting Mancini, but we should get a decent bounce here.SpeedyAg90 said:We are doomed pic.twitter.com/Md8Ar0cG15
