Best gin I've had is Nolet's. Nothing else is close, IMO.

The silver is more reasonably priced….$40-50 a bottle. The gin I had in Miami was crazy marked up at a high-end hotel on South Beach.

Side bar $SLB story. When I was an undergrad, I interviewed with Schlumberger. This was when energy prices were pretty low, but they were always hiring. The manager / interviewer told me I didn't fit the profile of someone who would be successful at Schlumberger. I asked him what he meant, he said he didn't think I would be willing to work hard. Highly offensive to me at the time, really funny in retrospect. I don't remember the guys name, but he was an Ag. He'd be a grandpa now. Don't ever doubt that things work out the way that they're supposed to work out!!

JB Hunt transport company, JBHT, looks like it's holding up well so far. Will this company also suffer for the higher gas prices?
Had the pleasure to meet Johnelle Hunt about 7-8 yrs ago. Dynamic woman…even in her 80s. She was still CEO at that time. Her husband died from a subdural hematoma, if I recall. He slipped and fell on ice after his colleagues begged him to not go out in the ice. Anyway, some sideways history.
But I'm surprised to see that stock holding up given soaring gas prices. Can only raise shipping costs so much before people just won't pay for it, right? Seems a perfect storm is yet brewing….
OIL FUTURES SOAR TO HIGHEST SINCE JULY 2008, BRENT HITS $139.13/BBL, US CRUDE HITS $130.50/BBL
