Same here. It's concerning with it hovering around 2 for so long. The more it stays here I feel the higher the likelyhood of it dropping hard and fast. They really need to announce some contracts and not a simple permit that they received. A good component of a company's valuation is it's reputation. This company doesn't seem to have a good reputation…. I hope I'm wrong

My advice is to remove it off your screen and don't even check on it, especially if you have a small account and have a large amount with respect to the size of your account. Doing that only brings you stress. I wouldn't buy more of it because you already own it. Build up your cash through gradual contributions until you have enough to ride something else to grow your account. Making money in other vehicles while waiting on them to come into favor is better for your psyche than praying for a positive news release.

Not singling you out, but if you do have a smaller account and build up capital to redeploy into something, DO NOT GAMBLE WITH OPTIONS, especially short term options. Look at leaps on beaten up leaders during this chaos to give you some time. JMO, do what you will.

I have seen WWR discussed a lot around here. Seems to be a mineral play for batteries? Is that right?

Also seems to be an older entity that maybe did something prior?

Curious what peoples original valuation goals were for this. At under $2 a share i wonder if it's worth dabbling or did everyone here dabble in that range for long term disappointment.

That's a significant purchase by Buffet. He bought OXY after it's been up 60% YTD and Oil around 110. He didn't buy low unless he thinks oil keeps going. Just today Scott Sheffield said a Russian oil ban would take crude as high as 200 and that the USA wouldn't be able to makeup the lost oil from Russia. It would have to be a coordinated global effort and would take 2-3 years.

He said the US increasing production isn't easy. There is shortage of labor, frack fleet shortage, sand shortage, and it would take 6-8 months to get 1st production.

Be the least important thing in the world.

I had a big green week this week. Avoided the slaughter early in the week. Dropped a big amt on DIA puts that hit big this morning, and acct up nearly 9% today. Took more risk but felt more confident in the trades and set ups.

Thanks to all! Good weekend and let's all cheer on the Bears to win a split (at least!) of our 2nd straight hoops reg season championship.
Look at ES weekly, another test of the lows will confirm your favorite pattern.

Looks like the right set up. Consistent with Mancini set up saying one more retest of 4280 likely fails. Just need to close that gap up and then I'll sell the calls and become my favorite mascot again.

Northrop Gunman from 370 to 470
Lockheed from 380 to 460
General Dynamics 210 to 245

All three at 52 week highs.

You have to give trades room to run. The setup was valid unless it broke back below the trend line or your stop got hit. You need to give yourself at least 10 points.

No I like it, like the way you trade, just saying where I would have stopped out. I give ES room quite a bit, but that is the I am trading level to level. When I am playing trend breaks on 1 minute chart, I don't usually give that much room, but I guess size matters also, you had small size.

Two keys for me day trading are predetermining the basis for a stop and portion sizing. In fact those may be the two most important factors for success for me, maybe even more important than identifying a good setup. When I have a basis for what the stop is based on instead of just a price level, I'm less likely to hold in longer or to get nervous and sell early. When my portion is too large I'm more likely to break my rules.

On yesterdays spy trade, the stop is below LOD. Once there is a low and you enter, your stop is slightly below that low.

If you trade spy, it would be about $1

I'll have to try it. Bloody Mary's with gin are way better than they are with vodka. If you haven't tried it, I recommend you try it once.

Btw, is the opinion that oil will keep going up? Even if Russian war ends?

Was debating OIH leaps even with all the premium it costs, if the consensus is that it goes up. Could be a lucrative trade.

But if Putin pulls out, it would be a catastrophic loss…particularly to my modest sized acct.

The bigger play for me is HAL. They stand to gain the most, especially given their stock price, if/when we have to pickup the slack on the Frac side. I'm in some January 2023 $35C that I grabbed at the start of this last week.

I'm not sure how high it goes but I do think $100 is the new floor for the remainder of 2022, at a minimum.
