Yes still fairly strong, I am just holding my long position from the 4300 recaptured mentioned in my newsletter last night. I locked in 4340, 4385, will just hold the rest now with a break even stop.

Two evenings in a row in TOS, the 3/8 VIX 24p has jumped in extreme value. The mark goes from say .15 all the way 11 yesterday and 8 today. You're not reading that wrong. But what in the world. Then market open it runs right back down to the actual mark.
Anyone watching CAT? I picked up the 210c for about .05 as a lotto
Glad you made it out alive from that one. TSLA isn't really one you can just leave unless you are willing to accept a big loss, averaging down also. Always have to remember that you're number one job is risk management and protecting your capital.
That is why I love how 30K is doing this 50K account. He is willing to take some risk, but always small, always having a stop, etc. Not everything works, but you can see him methodically make gains. Incredibly difficult, especially when sharing trades.

Equities are flat after moving higher as London opened, then plummeted 25 points to a low at 6.46 am and are now flat... Lavrov dangled talks with Ukraine as the Russians continue the shelling of Ukraine ...we remain skeptical... Yet the markets are looking forward to some type of resolution... Meanwhile commodities prices are soaring...WTI HIT 116 AND BRENT REACHED 119.84, before reversing... Tough to find gas stations locally under 4 dollars for regular... But it is not just oil, Wheat rocketed past 11 dollars a bushel, zinc hit 4000 a ton, and aluminum soared to a record. Investors poured 500 million into commodity ETFS this week, which seems small to us but that still took assets to a record. BCOM, BB commodity index is having its best record since the 2008 era.
Powell and rates... Rates were in a range over night with the 10 year now in a 1.80-1.90 range, currently at 1.86... Powell said clearly yesterday that 25 is the number for March, not 50... And WIRP seems to be respecting that for now with a 98% reading of 25... 50 is off for March, but can be considered for May or June.. We still do not see that as likely, but next weeks CPI looks ugly with 7.9 YOY and ex food and energy at 6.4% YOY, which are both higher than last month's numbers...we have Barkin and Williams talking later today and then the Fed looks to go into their Black out period... So 25 WINS FOR MARCH... Powell also said it would take about 3 years to wind down the balance sheet. That implies about 70-80 billion a month once it starts...
Can the street handle the Fed unwind... NO WAY...we have been pounding the table about lack of liquidity for over 2 years... LIQUIDITY IN THE TREASURY MARKET IS AWFUL... AND THIS IS THE BIGGEST MARKET IN THE WORLD WITH 23 TRILLION...Bloomberg wrote a story this morning

But JPM said that this is currently the worst the treasury market has been for liquidity since April 2020, and that was at the height of Covid... Be careful of off the runs.

Is this a scalp opportunity? For it to get to $210 it would have to reclaim all the EMAs and then some. Not impossible but seems highly improbable. I suppose with any strong move up on Thursday those could double.

SPX and TSLA look to open just above 200-EMA. QQQ still below, but convergence in the 5&10-EMAs below with the 20-EMA above will make this move up or down soon. I still feel short-term bullish and medium-term bearish and I probably will until SPX and QQQ get above those early February highs or break below the 2/23 close.
JETS and airlines appear to lead the way again in the premarket, but they have continued to follow the 5-day down. It will be interesting to see how long that continues. I'd expect industry-wide rule changes soon with the CDC backing off of masks and the government demonstrating the same sentiment in the SOTU.

Daily volume has been green last 4/5 days. Has gaps to go for. .2052 is one. .46 is the big one. If it were me I'd wait for it to close above 21EMA before going long. I think you can scalp along the way.

If it is going to follow it's recent pattern then yes. But who knows? Fed speaking is always a wild card.
MRVL reports earnings after the close. I like them at their current price and will go long shares today.
