VEON put volume today has been insane. Especially considering you can only buy ITM. September is especially heavy.. way over the open interest. Looks to me like people betting on them going belly up. All or nothing.

If you played it right, you had net free shares with hopes of a big move up. It didn't though, and has recently gone cliff diving. I've quadrupled my position at these prices. If Russia wins, I guess they could tell VEON to **** off and steal their towers. If Russia loses, this could be a massive rebound play. Earnings were overall positive.
