VIX trending up back above support. SPY etc. hard rejection here if VIX keeps running.

MVIS with another push up. It gets through $4.20 or so, next real resistance is at $4.86.

He's getting it with Donbass. Ukraine will pull out soon and the separatists will have won that region and will be a Russian backed independent region

Many on here have mentioned using the 15 min if you are looking for entry and the 5 min when you enter and are looking for the exit. This is what I do, especially when scalping SPY. Heavy red candle on the 5 could most likely signal a turn.

Sorry to hi-jack but it depends on what your trading timeframe looks like. If you're buying something like options that will expire in 1-4 days, you can look as short as 10m or hourly. Longer term (2+ weeks) I look at hourly or daily. Sometimes weekly/monthly if I'm looking at leaps.

In short, don't stick to one time chart.

I'm out of all RBLX. I'm not liking how this is being held down while the market is ripping and they've got their ER tonight. Something seems off to me and I've seen a ****load of 2/18 61P come through today.

I probably do this assbackwards but I've found that i mostly get scrood when i get in a hurry and enter trades just because i have money and want to get it over with. I've found that i do better if i hold out just as long as i can, if mancinis support/ consolidation levels hold and targets stay intact, but the market keeps chopping past an expiration or two, then thurs or friday can be go time, so i grab friday calls before Wednesday's close. If the rip happens before then, oh well, there will be others.
*Perhaps "found" is the wrong term... it's probably more like "feel" Kinda my ghetto version of letting the price come to me

Ah, I think I misinterpreted your original post. I thought you were saying buy now at tomorrow's close price. So predicting what the close would be tomorrow.

Totally fine with that, got assigned these shares 2 Fridays ago at a 12.55 basis

Edit: that's 23% on 5% of my account value in 3 weeks. I'd call that a win all day long

Man, this makes me sick looking at CAT prices. I had to sell 100 shares early in our marriage to pay for some expenses, and goodness it would probably pay for my kids' education now.

this might be a buyable dip in $TSLA. I'm already in, but you could probably risk long on the 950s with a 20% stop, small size. Decent R/R potential in my opinion.

A trading thing I've observed lately, as a general comment:

There is a lot of popularity to VWAP holding on stocks right now. Something I am seeing is if you are in something and it loses VWAP, it will violently puke while all of these people have been trained to dump at VWAP loss. If you see something very extended above VWAP, there are good short opportunities for this.

For anything you are in long, either set your stop above or be prepared to buy on these little pukes.
