Just looking at what I've bought today to maybe hold overnight - I've gone bullish. I bought VIX puts and SPY and TSLA call spreads. Lotto size on all three. My sentiment is bearish and everything else I've done today is bearish, so guess this is hedging to the upside?

Everyone has been saying the Ukraine thing is priced in, but I disagree. Markets wouldn't be swinging so violently if that were the case.

Wow wtrh is back under .5
Last i was paying attention to this one they had a sweetheart deal with a lot of the Vegas casinos due to Fertitta's investment and connections. If that's still true it seems like this could be an awesome laggard on the czr/lvs recovery

CF Industries earnings come out tomorrow evening; should be a real blowout quarter given Q4 fertilizer pricing and outlook should be great for this year. Market seems to be distracted on all the interest rate and geopolitical stuff. Bought calls for Friday on big dip this AM. I see asymmetrical upside risk here.

BTW: fertilzer will take another leg up if there is an invasion of Ukraine as Russia is a major global supplier

Oil at $150/barrel just gets him another smoker to park next to his current smoker...which already feeds around 25 people per weekend.
I'm good with this. I plan on crashing his tailgates at Kyle next season even if I don't have a ticket to the game.

Per the Interwebs:

"Hines (undisclosed) was placed on the Rams' practice squad injured list Saturday.

Hines went undrafted out of Texas A&M and spent training camp with the Cowboys. He suffered an elbow injury and was waived from IR with an injury settlement before camp concluded. He ultimately ended up with the Rams' practice squad, but he never made it to the active roster. He'll work to get healthy and make a bigger impact next season."

It's hard to be long anything more than 5 minutes in this market with the impending threat of invasion, because everything (with the possible exception of energy and defense) will crater initially.

Even if they do invade, I don't think it will last long before resolution one way or the other and prices will recover from that.

The bigger long term enemy of the bull market right now is the Fed.
