Today the 0TDE call strikes with the most activity have been the 350 and 352 (vol 45.7k and 33k). The daily 5EMA is now 373.75. The 345P has the highest vol at 48.9k.
For opex end of week 2/18 expiry, the puts are easily dominating the volume. We could be setting the high for the week today or tomorrow and then trade down towards these strikes. 340p has most vol today.

Depends on who's buying and who's selling. If it's retail buying all these puts, wouldn't that make it less likely that the price closes below those strikes?

To your point I agree the sellers of the puts want to see those puts expire worthless. But since the call buying is less aggressive for today and Friday expiry than the puts, I would think the desire to buy the underlying equity would be absent also. It's interesting how many times the strike with the most volume will have the price touch that strike on the day of expiry. As an example, the 345P has clearly the most volume today and we are heading for it as I type.Bob Knights Liver said:

4365 was the stopping point in premarket this morning..........we're hovering at it right now.
The last couple days of news cycle have felt like WMD Iraq, but in the modern age of Twitter. Just seems like government people giving reporters tips to tweet/leak to advance some sort of desired outcome.
